BN mulls new multi-racial group
Could it be another poor, ad-hoc "flip-flop" decision? In the process maverick politicians will flourish creating a somewhat confused situation within the BN.
At least, SAPP defectors and traitors found their new home.

Main cast in the Game of Betrayal
Obviously, we can see that Raymond Tan, is playing a delaying game, to back his previous word that he will stay with SAPP but if SAPP sacks him, then he will say "they sack me, they don't want me". He has yet to send his letter of resignation. But ironically, he has announced he has left SAPP and now trying to form a renegade party called "Sabah People's Movement Party" or "Sabah United Party" by pinching and enticing existing SAPP members all around Sabah. His party claiming "15,000" renegade members will be formed soon.

Sufficient reasons for Govt to act, says Liew
Kuala Lumpur: Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) President Datuk Liew Vui Keong said there were sufficient grounds for the Government to use the ISA on blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin, Seputeh Member of Parliament Teresa Kok and Sin Chew Daily reporter Tan Hoon Cheng.Liew, who is Deputy International Trade and Industry Ministry, said he was shocked when he heard the news of the detentions Friday night but after being briefed on the reasons for the detention and listening to a statement from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi that the Government would not take such action without reason, he understood why the action was taken.

Dr Max (PBS) remarks unbecoming
July 14, 2008: SAPP has expressed regret that certain Sabah-based parties like PBS had willingly become the Federal government's instrument to condemn the party for fighting for the rights of Sabah and,for expressing no confidence in the Prime Minister."But they (PBS) was silent when Umno leaders called for the PM to step down," said SAPP Secretary-general Datuk Richard Yong.
Yong pointed this out in a statement issued yesterday in response to a statement made by PBS deputy president, Datuk Dr Maximus Ongkili in a local daily that it was better for SAPP to quit BN besides describing it as a 'political bitch'.

Move to expel SAPP
PBS president Joseph Pairin Kitingan has moved a motion for SAPP to be expelled from Barisan Nasional during the ruling coalition’s management committee meeting yesterday. The motion was seconded by VK Liew, president of another Sabah-based party LDP, according to a source from a BN component party at the meeting.
It is not known whether the party (UPKO), which is led by Minister in the PM’s Department Bernard Dompok, was invited to the meeting or whether it had chosen to stay away.
“Only the ‘three stooges’ attended - PBS, PBRS and LDP,” said the source. PBRS, or United Sabah People’s Party, is headed by Joseph Kurup.

Reply to "Don't Pressure PM Plea" by Kurup
I am writing in respond to the statement featured in the front page of The Daily Express dated 15 May 2008 by The Right Honorable Tan Sri Joseph Kurup, our Sabah Deputy Rural and Regional Development Minister, urging our MPs to give our PM time to resolve their proposals without too much pressure.
I am shocked to learn that our MPs have to draw up a list of proposals for our PM as a reminder to resolve. Don’t tell me our PM does not know or was he oblivious to the plight of our people all this years or unless he is not interested or chooses not know and it is naïve for our Tan Sri Joseph if in the request to our Federal government to do what ought to be done is asking too much or considered to be putting pressure?
I hope our Tan Sri would do some soul searching him self and take a hard look around, look at all our rakyat in the eye and honestly say that we have not been short changed with a lop-sided deal in their governing of our state. If our Federal government have been sincere in wanting to eradicate poverty and bring development to Sabah, how can we count on this promise if up till now there was not even an attempt to even look into the issue of illegal immigrant and a host of other issues.
