BN mulls new multi-racial group

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has mooted the idea of creating a new group within Barisan Nasional to allow people to directly join the ruling coalition as members.

Could it be another poor, ad-hoc "flip-flop" decision? In the process maverick politicians will flourish creating a somewhat confused situation within the BN.

At least, SAPP defectors and traitors found their new home.

On the case of Yong Lee Hua, 78, who was issued a red IC after losing the card despite being a Malaysian and a Sino-Kadazan, Hamid said there was no sinister motive involved.

According to him, it was a mistake that happened during the application process due to a similar coding system in Sabah when issuing ICs for citizens and permanent residents.

“After conducting a thorough check and revision it was found that she has a genuine record of residing in Sabah. On its part, the NRD will reissue her IC,” he said.

What a blatant Syed Hamid made. It was very clear that Yong's application was rejected on the grounds of its 'bias' policies.

There are so many cases of illegal acquisition of Mykads by illegals, why not go and check these out also.

Double standards of the BN government are depriving the people of Sabah the right to reside peacefully, but instead we have to deal with illegals everywhere and "fly by night" Mykad holders and having 1st Class BUMI!

KDMs in West Malaysia are 2nd class bumi, they are not qualified for buying housing lots allocated to bumis.

Chinese are the 3rd class citizens who do not have any special privileges, but fortunately, they are smart and survive.

BUT THESE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS WHO GOT MYKAD BY THE BN GOVERNMENT ARE NOW 1ST CLASS CITIZENS AND BUMI!!!

DOWN WITH THE DOUBLE STANDARD BN!

  4. "BN mulls new multi-racial group" - this must be another silly joke by our outgoing 'flip-flopped'PM.

This is also another sign of BN to "Be-Ended".

But if Bodowi is really serious about adopting a non-racial politics and to counter if not to copy the concept and effort of Pakatan Rakyat, perhaps Bodowi should just revamp BN and rename UMNO as the "United Malaysians National Organisation".

Until and unless this is done, Bodowi and UMNO-led BN is just making a fool of themselves.

As for people like Raymond and his group of stooges, they will be fondly remembered as "The Legion of Spineless Scum of Sabah" together with people like Pairin, Dr Mad Max, Vicky Liew, Edward Chew Ko Hai, Yee Moi Cai, Joseph Kurap etc.

  5. Right, they are the ball-less, spineless Scums.

Let us bring them down and buried.

    Hidup SAPP!

  6. Individual BN membership 'a political gimmick'

Politicians and civil rights activists have described the proposal to open up Barisan Nasional (BN) to individual membership is a political ploy designed to shore up the ruling coalition’s battered image.

Those interviewed said the idea, mooted by premier and BN chairperson Abdullah Ahmad Badawi over the weekend, will not work because component parties are based on race-based politics.

Differences have surfaced over Umno’s hegemony, especially over the past year.

  7. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states: “Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference, and impart information and ideas through any media regardless of frontiers”
    ===================

If you think chocolate ice cream is better than vanilla ice cream, that is an opinion. If you think the earth is flat, then it is a fallcy. If you say Teresa Kok tried to lower the volume of the azan then it is a lie. And if you tried to incite racial hatred against her based on that lie then you are guilty of grievous personal injury and deserve to be punished. The freedom of the press does not include slander and libel. I paste below some philosophies about slander and libel and related laws:
    -----------------------
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slanderandlibel

“Slander and libel are false or malicious claims that may harm someone’s reputation.”

“In law, defamation (also called calumny, libel, slander, and vilification) is the communication of a statement that makes a false claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government or nation a negative image. Slander refers to a malicious, false, and defamatory statement or report, while libel refers to any other form of communication such as written words or images. Most jurisdictions allow legal actions, civil and/or criminal, to deter various kinds of defamation and retaliate against groundless criticism. Related to defamation is public disclosure of private facts which arises where one person reveals information which is not of public concern, and the release of which would offend a reasonable person.[1] “Unlike libel, truth is not a defence for invasion of privacy.”"

“False light laws are “intended primarily to protect the plaintiff’s mental or emotional well-being.”[3] If a publication of information is false, then a tort of defamation might have occurred. If that communication is not technically false but is still misleading then a tort of false light might have occurred.[3]”

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From the above definition of defamation, slander, and libel it is very clear that no blatant lies can be sheltered under the freedom of the press. Teresa Kok had been harmed maliciously. The fact that she was arrested and jailed for a week is clear evidence of harm done to her. In any country with justice, this is a very simple case that is open and shut.

  8. Why need multi-racial group party, still and very truth, control by one races only. Even in their meeting..speak their languages out loud, like in SAPP, why speak chinese during meeting and let the other race langui-langui macam tunggu lalat masuk mulut..kemudian tu, ikut tepuk tangan, ikut ketawa biarpun yang diketawakan itu ialah mereka....WHY DO WE NEED MULTI_RACIAL PARTY.. YTL mo simpan mana.. nanti dia jadi partyless pula diSabah ni.
