Sultan Sulu coronation in Sabah

The fact that there are innumerable claimants to the Sulu sultanate is public knowledge.

But to have a joker by the name of Abjan Ali to install himself in a self-styled coronation in Sabah as Sultan of Sulu is a direct and no joke challenge to Malaysia’s sovereignty over Sabah and an insult to the our Malaysian Sultans and our Sabah Head of State. This so-called “Sultan of Sulu”, complete with a “Prime Minster” of a government-in-exile expect people of Sulu descent to pledge loyalty to him, and not to our Malaysian Agung, our constitution and nation. The security implications are obvious and serious.

In 1995 or 1996, Abjan and several other UMNO operatives were detained under the Internal Security Act for the manufacturing of fake identity cards. I need say no more about this person except that Abjan is an active UMNO member. What is UMNO going to do about him?

If the Malaysian government does nothing to stop such flagrant violation of Malaysia’s sovereignty over Sabah, then Sabahans will being to wonder what it means to be a Malaysian.
Datuk Yong Teck Lee
Ex-Chief Minister of Sabah, May 1996 - May1998

  7. This is the plan! Musa goes home and the new Sultan takes over! And out of thin air, we do not have any illegal people here in Sabah!

But we have been rakyat of the Sultan of Sulu all the time since the government pays RENT for Sabah to the Sultan of Sulu! And this one is a UMNO member - so all is fine!!!

Don't complain! You have voted for UMNO-BN over and over and over again for the past 40+ years! That is what you get - a Sultan instead of a new CM!

  21. The only remedy to the overall sickness in Sabah is very clear!

Vote for a Party which is not an UMNO-BN party!!!!!

It does not make a difference if you vote for a BN-party, that is still the UMNO ruling who calls the shots!!!!!!!!!

And with a UMNO Sultan, Sabah will BELONG to UMNO until the last day of mother earth. WAKE UP or hold your peace forever! It is your choice!!!

  22. "Black is black, white is white" and everybody knows it that the Umno central leadership let it go by. SAPP has highlighted this issue in the newspapers before any other parties make a similar for fear they are left out in the call for this treacherous act to be brought up to the police or home ministry.

While after a police report was made, Umno and other BN components made similar moves in order to save themselves...afterall, it only need 1 report to be made before action...their actions were actually redundant and they knew it...so make their respective police reports, one more is nothing different.
