PM for all M'sians?

PM for all M'sians, but minus S'gor?

Why would Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who claimed to be a prime minister for all Malaysians, back a proposal to set up a one-race, one-religion Selangor government?

That’s the question being asked by DAP leader Lim Kit Siang.

It was revealed that days after the March 8 general elections, Umno met with bitter rival PAS to discuss power-sharing under the guise of Malay unity and Islam in a desperate bid to retain power in Selangor.

The secret meeting, which was engineered by former mentri besar Dr Mohd Khir Toyo, was attended by Abdullah and three PAS leaders - deputy president Nasharudin Mat Isa, Terengganu commissioner Mustafa Ali and Abdul Khalid Samad, MP for Shah Alam.

“Right-thinking Malaysians must find it most shocking and outraged that Abdullah ... who had repeatedly pledged to be prime minister of all Malaysians and not just for any one race, could give his blessing and endorse the formation of a one-race, one-religion government for the most advanced state in Malaysia - Selangor,” said Lim.

He said that Abdullah should explain why he backed the Khir Toyo proposal.

    Aim was to stop DAP

According to Khalid, Umno wanted to halt DAP from making inroads into the Selangor government and was willing to work with PAS to stop the predominantly Chinese party from being part of the state government.

Umno was willing to offer PAS the mentri besar post as well as four executive councillors posts if it agreed to defect to the Barisan Nasional coalition.

Khir - who was to be deputy mentri besar in the joint government - said he was even willing to be left out of the state government line-up if that would encourage PAS to accept the partnership.

Despite the offer, PAS chose to back the Pakatan Rakyat state government with PKR Selangor chief Khalid Ibrahim as menteri besar. PAS was given three state executive councillors in the new government.

Even with PAS's eight seats, a Umno-MCA-PAS coalition will have 28 seats, equal to the PKR-DAP haul. This may result in an impasse on which coalition can form government.

  2. Abdullah should explain why he backed the Khir Toyo proposal for a one-race, one-religion Selangor State Government after the March 8 general election

Former Selangor Mentri Besar, Datuk Seri Mohamad Khir Toyo thought he was doing the state, people and nation a great service when he tried to mid-wife a UMNO-PAS Selangor State Government after the March 8 general election.

He wrote on his blog that he arranged for a muzakarah between PAS leaders and the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi after the general election and offered PAS the mentri besar post, deputy mentri besar post as well as four executive councilors in a PAS-UMNO coalition government in Selangor to champion Malay interests.

There is some discrepancy in Khir's account from that of Selangor PAS leader and MP for Shah Alam, Abdul Khalid Samad, who had attended the muzarakah, with the latter recounting that Khir wanted the Deputy Mentri Besar post although Khir claimed that he was willing to be left out of the state government line-up if that would encourage PAS to accept the "power-sharing".

Khalid, who had described the muzarakah as "coloured with a racial agenda" of Umno, had denied that PAS harboured any intention of any power-sharing arrangement with UMNO in Selangor as PAS had already agreed to the proposal to name PKR's Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim as Mentri Besar.

In the Berita Harian today, Khir was quoted as saying that discussion over his Umno-PAS power-sharing arrangement went on for four days but was unsuccessful because of external influences.

Right-thinking Malaysians must find it most shocking and outraged that the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who had just presided over a RM100 million 50th Merdeka national celebrations and repeatedly pledged to be Prime Minister of all Malaysians and not just for any one race, could give his blessing and endorse the formation of a one-race, one-religion government for the most advanced state in Malaysia – Selangor - in the year 2008!

Abdullah owes all Malaysians a full and proper exp)lanation!
    Lim Kit Siang (Quoted)

MCPXHe said Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi - who is also Umno president - had briefed the party's supreme council on this matter at its meeting this afternoon.

  4. Gentlemen & Ladies,
Do you think is right too to give "show-cause" letter to UMNO pusat dan berkaitan (PM & MMTaib) to explain their act?

Tactics could be understood by many other BN component parties but usually they "plug" their mouths!

It used to be a tactic in Perak,Penang and Sarawak before in history except Sarawak they made it through in Sabah long long times ago!

Remembered not long ago while SAPP leaders too worry against those racists matter and try to build a harmony society here in Sabah what one see now is a repeating bad example by typical leadership here!

Sabahan must now open our eyes and learn what is good and moderate in harmony as true example of right malaysian for world to see!

Why talk much about rakyat only in your mouth but so "heartless" to care for every malaysian?

  7. As long as only a Malay can become PM there is no racial harmony in the country. As long religion is something to be highlighted on and on again, there is no unity in the country.

Religion should be something PRIVATE and all ppl holding a true malaysian passport should be called Malaysians no matter what race. This race and religion matter has to go before unity between the ppl can be achieved.

  9. PM for all M'sians? I doubt it very much! when the oil price gone up to US $ 130.00 in June 2008, he increased it immediately to RM2.70 per litre at midnight 19th June,2008 and said he will review the price every month and if the international oil price down even US $0.10 he will adjust it accordingly but now the oil price has gone down less than US $ 125.00 but his minister said today only when oil price down to US$ 110.00-100.00 then they MAY CONSIDER to reduce it (but have to wait & see because he said the price may up again)! We have been fool by the govt for 50 years and can you people trust BN govt anymore and want to "enjoy" this govt further?

I got this comment from someone and would like to share:-

We want to ask the minister, you said your cost is RM3.00 per litre and you subsidize to the Raykat RM0.30 per litre then the rakyat "enjoy cheap price” at RM2.70 per litre (compare to NON oil producing country like Singapore, Thailand, Japan etc...)
May we know the subsidy money RM0.30 who do you pay to? Petronas or Arab country? and who is your supplier?

The fact that the fuel cost is damn cheap for oil-producing country. 1 litre is less than RM0.05 per litre,(we got this reliable info from some Shell and Esso experts)

look at other oil-producing countries, govt supplies to their nations in a very reasonable low price. as I said before there is no oil subsidy from govt. it is depend whether govt wants to sell high or low price to their own nation. It’s because our govt is too greedy and need the money for their own purpose. If the govt is responsible and love the Rakyat, they can sell it to them at RM1.20 per litre just like Brunei and the govt still make huge profit.

Harga minyak di negara pengeluar minyak seperti Malaysia

    UAE RM1.19/litre
    Egypt RM1.03/litre
    Bahrain RM0.87/litre
    Qatar RM0.68/litre
    Kuwait RM0.67/litre
    Saudi Arabia RM0.38/litre
    IranRM0.35/litre
    Nigeria RM0.32/litre
    Turkmenistan RM0.25/litre
    Venezuela RM0.16/litre
    Brunei RM 1.20/litre

    MALAYSIA RM2.70/litre
=(RM2.70 x 159 litre = US $ 135.00 per barrel international price. so where is the subsidy to the RAYAT??? and don't tell us your cost is RM 3.00 per litre and BN Govt subsidize us 0.30 per Litre as we know the cost is less then RM0.05 per litre for oil producing country)

So, Malaysian people are fool by the govt for morn than 50 years...

    MALAYSIA BOLEH !!!

  10. Just to Digress a little - UMNO-PAS Secret Meeting as stated by Pak Lah on 20th July 2008.

MCA President was right for wanting to know what were discussed during the meeting. It seems that UMNO can do what it wants without consulting other BN components (REMEMBER "THE ANIMAL FARM" BY GEORGE ORWELL?).

Pak Lah "sells" his approval because they are talking about "Malay and Islam Unity). Other BN components can be left in the cold.

The up-and-coming leader of Gerakan was offered by PR to sit as Chairman of Investment Committee in Dap-held Sate of Penang. What happen?

Shahril Samad backed a motion initiated by DAP while he was the Chairman of backbenchers club and what happen to him - he was censored!

Can we as Sarawakians and Sabahans hold talks "Ethnic non-Muslim Minority Bumiputera and Christians"? In Sarawak and Sabah 65% of the population are Christians!

Can MCA talk with DAP on issues ralating to matters affecting the Chinese Community?

UMNO-led Federal Government should focus on economic issues vi-a-vis the sufferings of the Rakyats especially the rural contituencies of S'wak and Sabah, which had never failed to put BN Wakil Rakyats in Parliament for the last 45 years!

Now on Article 153: "SPECIAL POSITIONS OF MALAYS AND NATIVES OF SARAWAK AND SABAH". Dr. John Brian was right in saying that there were no problems in the 70s. With the NEP, the agenda was tilted towards Malays with its accompanying political definition ephasising on religion as one of the main component. Then Islamisation agenda comes to fore. Who is more Islamic - UMNO or PAS? Where do ethnic non-Muslim Bumuputera Minority in Sarawak and Sabah stands?

I graduated from ITM in 1976. I am still proud of the fact that >65% of "TOP STUDENT AWARDS" went to Sarawakian and Sabah students! These students are ethnic non-Muslim Minority Bumuputera from Sarawak and Sabah.

I recently attended a Seminar-cum-Dialogue in Kuching with Tan Sri M. Yassin as keynote speaker. I noticed in the hand-outs that Petronas has 2 refinery - Kerteh and Malacca. W. M'sia accounted for less than 30% of Crude Oil production compared with those produced by S'wak and Sabah (>60%). S'wak has a long history of producing oil via Shell. But after the formation of M'sia the operation were "parachutted" to W. M'sia.

As Datuk Yong said "this is a window of opportunity" and we will never have the chance. We are 45 years in M'sia.

  11. YOUR SAY: 'MCA hypocrisy revealed for all'
    Jul 25, 08 9:35am
'Now that news has broken out that Umno has talked to PAS, why is MCA so quiet? DAP is the devil for cooperating with PAS, but not Umno?'

On PM for all M'sians, but minus S'gor?

Kenny Gan: MCA has always castigated DAP for working with PAS. Before the 2008 elections, MCA tried to whip up fear among the Chinese that DAP's co-operation with PAS meant support for an Islamic state.

After the elections, MCA's Ong Ka Chun demanded that DAP apologise to the Chinese for misleading them and forming state governments with PAS.

Now that news has broken out that Umno has talked to PAS about sharing power, why is MCA so quiet? DAP is the devil for cooperating with PAS, but not Umno?

Or is it that MCA dare not speak up against their Umno masters?

MCA's hypocrisy has been revealed for all to see. Their trousers have slipped off and their stark impotence is not a pretty sight.

Do Chinese need any more proof that this pointless and powerless party cannot represent them and only exists to serve itself?

The Bigger Picture: Though I share Lim Kit Siang's curiosity in understanding Abdullah's thoughts while he was contemplating the power sharing in Selangor, what I really would like to know is what the non-Umno Barisan components in Selangor were thinking.

Did they even know? This would be the real mystery. If they knew, then the general public would most likely brand them as cosmetic pawns.

Their presence in BN would be a mere public relations stunt and they would not really have had any say against the Khir Toyo regime.

However, if they did know, then Umno would be labelled the grand overseer which could do whatever it wishes, regardless of the other component partys' interests.

Whatever their answer, it will be bad for BN.

Baiyuensheng: Sometimes I wish that there was a way that the Malays and non-Malays could have a swap. Then the non-Malays could appreciate more of the Malay psyche, and likewise the Malays on the non-Malays.

If God really knew that creating us in different colours and throwing in a couple of religious beliefs would create such a big headache, then why do it?

I can only take solace that this problem is not just a Malaysian-centric one, that it is a world-centric one.

History has tonnes of facts on people who went to war due to the colour of their skin and religious beliefs. This fact is somehow lost to us.

We have invented machines to go to the moon and other wonderful things that have advanced mankind's knowledge and creature comfort, but none spend a lot of time trying to invent a way to get us out of this mindset.

Is this possible? Sometimes it seems so hopeless.

On 'Don't blame Anwar, it's you, Khir'

Eileen Teh: I am very proud of Sallahudin Ayub and Nik Aziz. Truly, they are principled,
as they are not tempted by the sweet talk of Umno. You will have my vote again. Cheers!

Ex-Malaysian In UK: This guy Khir Toyol's racist attempts to bribe PAS and unite Malays will deepen the mistrust between Malays and non-Malays. We don't want to have a Chinese equivalent of Hindraf in Malaysia.

Such an organisation would spell disaster for the whole country. If it happens, Khir Toyo will be entirely responsible for it.

Kaisim: The recent secret meeting between Umno and PAS goes to show that Umno always does desperate things when they become weak.

They want to hold on to power, so they will even collaborate with an arch-rival by having secret meetings under the guise of Malay unity and Islam. They have forgotten their component friends altogether.

In the case of Dr Mohd Khir Toyo, he wanted to save his skin, lest the Pakatan government dig up more bad things in the next few months. As for our PM, he has forgotten what he promised before the elections - to be the prime minister to all Malaysians - he can't walk his talk.

Our bankrupt politicians will always play the racial card when they become desperate. History has shown that practically every major Umno politician has, at some point, played this game to further his own agenda.

Malaysia has become backward because of these selfish politicians. For the first time in fifty years, it's time to say enough to this racial thing. Malaysia is a multi-racial society. It is a beautiful country but we have not done much to sell Malaysia to the world.

We need to look at our society at large and talk less on race, religion and the NEP. Treat the Anak Malaysia fairly.

A Non-Malay: Thank God for Anwar! At least he is able to see that Selangor and Malaysia do not consist only of Malays. All non-Malay voters in Selangor, please remember what Khir Toyo has said now.

He is only concerned about Malays and not about you. In his eyes, all non-Malays who ask for their basic rights as guaranteed in the constitution are extremists. Let this insight guide your decision in the next election.

Mooshie Mooshie: It is now clear that Pakatan Rakyat is not the one courting BN MPs or state assembly persons to join them.

Our Mat Khir has been doing it to entice PAS to join BN from day three after the election and the PM actually condoned this. The whole cabinet actually knows about the same.

When Pakatan mentioned that MPs from BN will cross over, what did they say? They made all kinds of accusations and even called them prostitutes.

The Chinese, the Indian, and even Malay community know PAS as a religious party and they will not sell their souls like the BN Umno leaders. BN, you can keep your positions for now, and get punished in the 13th GE.

Maugham: While it is positive to think that PAS is mature enough to decide and support PR, nevertheless, there have been instances when PAS was aligned with Umno and separated later on. This does not augur well for PR.

Frankly, I support PAS as long as they are in PR, but once broken, that will be the end of the support given to PAS. Enough is enough.

A True Malaysian: What does our Khir Toyo think of Malaysia? Someone or a group of outstanding lawyers should take him to court so that his mouth is stitched closed. This guy, a has-been, is a washed-out case.

He is now trying to make a come back by playing racial politics. He thinks the rakyat (Malays, Chinese, Indians and other races) are that stupid.

If he opens his mouth further with all these sort of racial statements, be sure he is going to be the next person responsible for the Barisan Nasional's complete wash out in the next general election.

Someone in the legal profession should teach him a hard lesson that he will never forget.

Gman: What this clearly shows of Khir Toyo is his greed for power, with no intention whatsoever of serving the people. He and his followers need a lesson in the principles of democracy.

People today are not ignorant nor stupid. The people have voted and decided during the recent elections, so just let it be.

You need to realise it is your greed, corruption and plundering that has crippled and continues to cripple the present ruling government.

To our dear PM, its time you realise this too.

PITY: The biggest current threat to Malaysia as a nation is the recent rhetoric raised by politicians from BN on race issues for, unfortunately, more personal gain rather than for the good of the nation or for the rakyat.

Isn't that what the ISA is for? To protect against undesirable elements or individuals posing great threats to national security?

If instilling hatred and disunity among the various races of Malaysia (who are mostly living in harmony) is not a great national threat, what else is greater?

Those in power - if you have real concern about Malaysia as a nation, use the ISA to arrest any Malaysians - be they politicians, ministers or whomever - who uses the race issue for personal gains.

Otherwise, instruct your people to stop using this rhetoric. The rakyat is a much better informed group now than before. Malaysia has grown as a nation and the common people understand and can see the benefits that harmony can bring to a nation.

Clear examples of detrimental results from racial dis-harmony are out there for all to see. Is this what you want? The rakyat do not want that. Rakyat - you have the vote!

Cheah: Once, we were ‘at war' with Singapore and the ruling party decided to go the wrong way just to preserve their supremacy over the others. Now we know there are no winners, as we are left far behind and we can never catch up with the world.

It seems this group of ‘ultras' have an ‘under siege' mentality. They are very fearful that their own language, culture, religion and whatnot will be dominated by other races.

Surya: I am so ashamed to be Malaysian. The whole world is looking at us. Why are the PM, DPM and now this Toyo speaking and acting so foolishly? I just don't know what to say anymore.

My request is simple - please, please, please, for goodness sake, think more than twice before you speak or act. If you don't have the brains, please, please, please shut up.

Number_15959: Khir Toyo's pathetic admission of trying to make a pact with PAS after the election goes to show just to what extent these so-called leaders would go to in order to maintain the Umno status quo.

To Khir Toyo, I have only one thing to say - if you were not given the broom for Umno's poor showing in Selangor in the last GE, then you should be given the broom now.

You yourself have admitted to the racist policy you and your bunch of colleagues have been practicing for the last 50 years.

I don't know about the you, but the air in Malaysia has sure felt fresher since the last GE.

M Kam: It is simple Khir, you want Malay unity then dissolve Umno with all Umno members joining PAS. There won't be corruption in the government administration.

This should be a better idea than having meetings between Umno and PAS because PAS is the only party can protect the Malay interest and the religion - not people like you.

You are like an old CD. Don't repeat yourself again and again. We are not stupid to listen to you.

Caring Malaysian: Khir Toyo is such an extremely selfish politician. In order to regain his personal political power and wealth, he would rather sacrifice our whole nation by coming out with all kinds of unethical, immoral and irresponsible statements.

Our nation would be far behind other Asean countries if we are under the leadership of people like Khir Toyo.

Khir Toyo, please re-assess what are the real values in life. Fulfilling your own personal selfish targets or trying to build up the future of our nation?

  12. It's sad that religion is being used as one's weapon to manipulate the weak all for the sake of power. Is this the PM and the Government's idea of Malaysia Boleh? We have now become Malaysia Boleh for all the wrong reasons. This is by far not a perception but a reality.

This most honorable thing for the PM and the UMNO/BN Government is to relinquish their position and hand over the government to Pakatan Rakyat.

  14. PAS has 23 MPs, so if PAS flip to UMNO-BN, then PR would have 59 MPs left. But if MCA and Gerakan become alarmed that PAS going into BN would create an Islamic state and flip over to PR, then PR would gain 17 to 76. And if MIC also flip to PR, the PR would have 79. There are some 40 non-Muslim non-PR MPs in Borneo and if these all flip over to PR, then PR would wind up with 119. It takes 112 to be in the majority. So if PAS flip to BN, and if that alarmed the non-Muslim constituencies enough to make their MPs flip over to PR, then the end result may be in the PR's advantage.

So the PAS flip over to BN may cause a chain reaction that just might end with a mssive realignment that will end with the PR gaining the majority.

Of course, I hope the Borneo MPs will form a Pan-Borneo Alliance first and then form a coalition with PR to form the new government.

  19. Millions paid to RM650 company

    THE SUN, July 25, 2008
LONDON : The Youth and Sports Ministry entered into a multi-million ringgit agreement to host a football tournament with a company with a paid up-capital of just RM650 and accumulated losses exceeding RM6.5 million.

If it had carried out a due diligence test, as is required by practice and convention, before entering into an agreement involving such a big amount of money, it certainly would not have parted with RM17 million as "bidding fees" to host the Champions Youth Cup (CYC) tournament last year. And certainly, it would not have parted with RM8 million as "advance" for this year’s tournament, which has since been aborted.

For the record, the tournament held in four venues was a failure in terms of crowd support, gate collections and television viewership, despite promises of " Malaysia being mentioned several hundred times in international dispatches".

Both the ministry and the London-based Gifted Group Ltd are now embroiled in a controversy over the now-aborted tournament after the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) refused to sanction the tournament. Both Gifted and the ministry have threatened to sue each other for breach.

All this could have been avoided if only officials in the ministry had carried out checks.

Gifted Group’s Jonathan James Price and former youth and sports minister Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said had always maintained that the monies paid to the company were "bidding fees" but nowhere in the world does any country "bid" to host any tournament for three consecutive years.

But an examination of Gifted Group’s filings with the Companies House here (the equivalent of Companies Commission of Malaysia) revealed that the RM17 million from Malaysia may have pulled Gifted Group out of financial trouble.

According to its accounts, it had accumulated losses of £1.044 million as of June 30, 2006. No further returns have been filed.

Price holds 74% of the shares (the other 26% being held by Indigo Holdings Ltd) and has six other subsidiaries of which only one – Gifted Management Ltd – is active. It, too, incurred losses of £58,000 (RM375,000) in 2005, which was carried forward the following year although records show there was no trading or transactions.

The records also show that the company has an outstanding loan of £600,000 (RM3.8 million) from an unnamed investor at an interest of 2% per annum. Interest due was £46,358 (RM299,000) and was to be settled on or before Nov 8 last year. The CYC was launched on March 16, 2007 and the tournament held in August. There have been no subsequent filings of company accounts.

Efforts by the Sun to seek comments from Gifted Group drew a blank as it is operating from an office suite complex in upmarket central London , a stone’s throw from Parliament House, to which access is restricted by receptionists who control access to all offices there.

Reached by phone from the reception at the ground floor, Price’s secretary, someone who gave her name as Marissa, said her boss was out of town. They have yet to return calls to the Sun.

  20. Raja Petra Kamarruddin - Malaysia Today......"The Malay unity talks between PAS and Umno are not something that just sort of happened. They were carefully planned way ahead with the objective of restoring Malay political power and to ensure that the non-Malay ‘immigrants’ would not become the dominant political force in Malaysia".

UMNO RAPE AND SODOMISE of Article 153: "SPECIAL POSITIONS OF NATIVES OF SARAWAK AND SABAH". Dr. John Brian was right in saying that there were no problems in the 70s. With the NEP, the agenda was tilted towards Malays with its accompanying political definition ephasising on religion as one of the main component. Then Islamisation agenda comes to fore. Who is more Islamic - UMNO or PAS? Where do ethnic non-Muslim Bumi putera Minority in Sarawak and Sabah stands?

Hi guys, Native of Sabah, Sarawak and Orang Asli of Semenanjung were now the MALAYSIA's RED INDIAN TRIBES. Chinese and Indians.....are the KULI.

Malay has already achieved more 1,000% NEP target but NEP will remains and never end! why? The simple maths equation. UMNO open the floodgate for the infux of Illegal immigrants Filipino and Indonesia Muslim and given Citizenship and PR of 7 million for the last 20 years. These illegal have been classified as poor bumiputera.

This Project IC /Mycard will keep on continue so that the "figure" 30% NEP will never achieve. Actual fact, UMNO Malay take away all and enjoy the benefits but not the Native of Sabah, Sarawak, Orang Asli of Semenanjung and the Chinese & Indians and the illegal recognised filipino & indo muslim,.
After the UMNO Malay tumuuy is full, the leftover is given to running dogs i.e MCA, MIC, Gerakan, PBS, SUPP, LDP..... all the BN component parties.

Native of Sabah, Sarawak, Orang Asli of Semenanjung and the Chinese & Indians are STUPID...NO BRAIN IN THEIR HEADS THOUGH AFTER BEING RAPED & SODOMISED BY UMNO MALAY.

Should Pakatan Rakyat failed, then next move is to set-up a REPUBLIC of EAST MALAYSIA (Sabah & Sarawak). Transmigration of the all the Orang Asli Semenanjung, Chinese and Indian to REPUBLIC OF EAST MALAYSIA and lets build a new republic with fair equitable and strong progress country either similiar like Singapore, UK or USA. Lets call for a Rakyat Voice of Referandum and put a petition to United Nation, UK and USA, just like the independent of Pulau Batu Putih. Sabah and Sarawak does not belong to Malay. Ketuanan Melayu does not exist in these 2 lands too.

Lets the Peninsular with UMNO and its Running Dogs Supporters rot.

Sodomise Article 153, 20-Point Agreement, Oil Royalty, PBS (Sabah under Pairin), SNAP (Sarawak under the late Tan Sri Kalong Ningkan) and now Sabah is sodomised by UMNO! UMNO wanted to sodomise Sarawak but was spurned and our Gawai 2007 witnessed no Federal Ministers from UMNO @ the function!

Those involved are Malays who profess the religion of Islam. They talk about Islam until they foam at the mouth.

Everything about the Malay mindset revolves around heaven and hell. Good non-Muslims like Mother Teresa, never mind how good they may have been, will end up in hell because they DO NOT PROFESS THE RELIGION OF ISLAM!

Malays will avoid bad and do good only if there is a reward system (Malay mindset).

Malays don't have CONSCIENCE. There is NO proper or precise word in MALAY vocabulaty that is equivalent to the word CONSCIENCE. We have seen amny acts perpetuated by ppl without any CONSCIENCE and who feel that one bad deed is no big deal when one can always go to Mecca to pray infront of the Kabah after the deed is done and this will wipe out their bad deeds.

Who is Saiful's father, who abanoned him for more than 20 years who suddenly appear at Saiful's doorstep? ALOR STAR: “Backdoor” deals between PAS and Umno would further ruin Barisan Nasional, former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said.

He said Umno should not leave out its partners when making deals with PAS.

“It is not nice to leave out others (in the coalition),” he told reporters after opening an art exhibition in conjunction with Kolej Sultan Abdul Hamid's centennial celebration here yesterday.

The Sultan of Kedah, Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah, opened the centennial celebration in conjunction with his Golden Jubilee festivities.

Dr Mahathir was asked to comment on the high-level talks between PAS and Umno on issues concerning Malays and Islam.

He advised Umno not to turn its back on its partners in the coalition.

Yet, Sabah and Sarawak have 56 seats in the Fed Parliament. Sabaha has 25 and Sarawak has 31. 3 has already gone to DAP and PKR. 53 are left. If the remaining 53 can form a Pan-Borneo Alliance, then they will control 1/4 of the parliamentary seats. This means it can make either PR or BN the majority to form the next government.

Therefore, Sabah and Sarawak can make themselves very powerful. But if they just stay the henchmen of BN, then they are just some running dogs to fetch and carry for UMNO and have no importance at all.

In the final analysis, whether Sabah and Sarawak can be important or not is entirely in their own hands. If they choose not to pick up their power, then they have only themselves to blame.

  37. The doctor's report says it very clearly. Saiful was never sodomised, either by Anwar or anyone else. Why is the government still pursuing the case against Anwar? And why are they looking for the doctor who has now gone underground with his whole family?

    NO HOLDS BARRED

    Raja Petra Kamarudin

On 21 July 2008, I published an article in this same column called HOW, YET AGAIN, THEY ARE TRYING TO FABRICATE EVIDENCE AGAINST ANWAR. (Read the article here ).

In that article I mentioned as follows:

You see, they asked a certain doctor from a certain hospital to conduct an examination on Saiful. The doctor did so and he came out with a report that said there is no evidence Anwar had ever penetrated or sodomised the young man. The police then picked up the doctor and detained him for three days. As much as they tried to force him to change his report to implicate Anwar he refused to do so.

Until today, the doctor stands by his report that there is no evidence Anwar had sodomised Saiful. He knows he is going to be made to pay for this but he doesn't care. He is not going to change his report and say that Anwar sodomised Saiful whatever they do to him. Exasperated, the police had to release Anwar on personal bond or police bail. The doctor refuses to doctor his report and neither does Anwar want to volunteer his new specimen.

Well, that doctor's name is Dr Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid from the Hospital Pusrawi and he has now taken his entire family and has gone into hiding because the police are looking for him and they want him to change his medical report.

At 2.00pm on 28 June 2008, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Bin Azlan went to see Dr Mohamed Osman to complain about a pain he is suffering in his anus. Saiful told the doctor that he had been assaulted by 'a very important person' -- meaning, of course, sodomised by Anwar Ibrahim.

Dr Mohamed Osman examined Saiful but found no evidence that he had been sodomised, either by Anwar Ibrahim or anyone else for that matter. The doctor's report (which can be viewed below) says that there is zero (0) skin tearing, zero (0) active bleeding, zero (0) traces of pus, etc., which basically means he can't be suffering from a pain in the anus as what he alleges.

The doctor's diagnosis is that he rules out or TRO (to rule out) assault (sodomised). In short: Mohd Saiful Bukhari Bin Azlan is not suffering any pain in the anus and neither was he assaulted or sodomised in the anus.

Saiful then said he would like to make a police report so Dr Mohamed Osman suggested he go for a second medical examination at a government hospital. Saiful did so and the doctor at the government hospital also came out with the same diagnosis. Nevertheless, Saiful still made his police report at the pondok police in the hospital.

In spite of the doctors all confirming that Saiful was never sodomised, the police still pursued the case. Anwar Ibrahim was subsequently arrested by about 20 SWAT members in Balaclavas and armed to the teeth in a dramatic movie-style action-packed drama in front of his house after he had confirmed he would be reporting to the police station at 2.00pm as required.

The police detained Anwar in the lockup until the next morning and even brought him to the hospital for examination and to try to obtain his specimen for what the police say are for purposes of doing a DNA profile. The fact that the police already have Anwar's DNA profile from 1998, plus the doctors from both hospitals confirm that Saiful was never sodomised, did not seem to matter.

Clearly the government is attempting to fabricate evidence against Anwar and is trying to indict him on trumped-up charges of sodomy. And who but the slime-ball AG and scumbag IGP, the same two players in the 1998 episode, can be behind this latest travesty of justice.

The doctor's report says it very clearly. Saiful was never sodomised, either by Anwar or anyone else. Why is the government still pursuing the case against Anwar? And why are they looking for the doctor who has now gone underground with his whole family?

Civil society movements, NGOs and the Malaysian Bar Council must not remain silent. The police have already detained the doctor for three days but he still refuses to doctor his medical report. Anwar did not sodomise Saiful and the doctor's report says it very clearly. And the police also have a copy of this same report that I have published below so they know what I know. And now Malaysians also already know what I and the police know -- that Saiful was never sodomised by anyone.

Sabah's problems were voiced out very vocally by SAPP and some of them e.g. illegal immigrants, JPPS were addressed. But, there are still many issues unanswered by the PM especially on oil royalty, political autonomy, non-racial approach to national unity etc.

Instead of building a non-racial nation, Umno and the PM are pursuing a one race government for Selangor and talking about 1969!

    ============================

Actually, it is obvious that there could not have been any valid prima facie evidence linking Anwar to Saiful sodomize case. There are 2 possibilities. The first is that DNA was found on Saiful linking it to Anwar. The second is that no DNA evidence was found on Saiful linking it to Anwar.

If any DNA left by the alleged sodomite and if the police had tested it and obtained good results, then thy could have easily matched it to Anwar's DNA on file. And if a match was found, then that would be prima facie evidence and Anwar would have been arrested and charged long ago. So apparently there were no DNA material found on the person of Saiful that can be linked to Anwar. And this brings us to the second case where there were no DNA material left by the alleged sodomite on Saiful.

In the second case, if no DNA material left by the alleged sodomite was found on the person of Saiful, then what is the point of asking Anwar to give a sample? Let me illustrate this with an example about a murder case where a man was stabbed to death. If there were no finger print on the murder weapon, then obviously there is no point to ask the suspect to give his finger print because there is no finger print on the murder weapon to compare. By the same token, if no DNA materials were found on the person of Saiful, then there is no point to ask Anwar to give his blood sample because there is nothing to compare.

From this simple logic it is obvious that the police is looking to get some DNA material from Anwar to plant on the clothes of Saiful. Since Anwar had been in police custody for a whole day and was stripped naked, it is possible that the police could have taken hair and skin samples from Anwar's clothes or his bed or even from his person while they were poking and measuring him. Therefore, if the police now come out with DNA evidence against Anwar it is clearly planted and therefore tainted and invalid.

This is clearly nothing more than a dirty trick to distract Anwar from getting elcted into the parliament and lead the overthrow of UMNO-BN.

  43. I strongly recommend DAP-PAS-PKR assemble again 'once and for all' to clarify to multiracial, loving Malaysians that they are actually 'intact'.

Lately, the mainstream media have played up this issue to provoke the sentiment of the Malays and to create distrust among the non-Malays, who gave overwhelming support to PAS.

To me, the statement by Tok Guru that both Umno and PAS had resolved to form a new Islamic base party was to test the water as to whether Umno is sincere enough in seeking real partnership.

I personally doubt that Umno will do that.

Its intention is to rock the relationship of Pakatan Rakyat so that they can call for a snap election before Sept 16 if all other alternatives to ‘kill' Pakatan Rakyat fails.

At least they have a higher chance of winning since they already created distrust among the non- Malays.

So please, leaders of PR in particular, don't fall into the traps set up by Umno. This time around is the best time for Malaysia to reinvent itself. All our country systems are haywire now. Please.

  44. BN is trying to play the racial card again. This time, it is a double-edged sword.

If PAS does not want to meet, they will start saying that PAS is not fighting for the Malays and Islam in particular. If PAS agrees to meet, BN will use this to create uneasiness among the Pakatan Rakyat.

PAS has the right to meet anybody to fight for their beliefs. But the message has to be firm and committed to what PR is fighting for, which is a fair and clean government.

I believe PAS does not want to dirty their hands with the corrupted BN.

I hope PR will conduct more road shows with all the three major parties (PKR, DAP and PAS) taking part.

"Umno had the highest number of seats. So, at that time, Umno held that it had the right to seek the opportunity to negotiate with any parties before forming the government.

"There was nothing wrong with it, nothing bad, because the government had not been formed. We, at that time, had the right to seek cooperation, alliance or coalition with any party.

    -------------------
Shows how arrogant Umno can become. Only Umno under Bodowi can form alliance with non-bn parties and without telling other bn components. But other components cannot form alliance with non-bn parties...for instance SAPP.
    WTF!

  49. puhuxeDear Sabahans,

I may be from the Peninsular, a Malay doctor by profession but what our PM had backed and supported such a proposal smacked of betrayal to other BN components, be them MCA, MIC, Gerakan, and other Sarawak n Sabah parties.

Isn't that an act of double-standard by BN President who claimed that SAPP President acted out of personal greed, but he himself is more greedy of the wealth that comes once the control of Selangor come under him n his UMNO cronies.

Wake up lah! MCA, MIC, Gerakan, PBS, LDP, PBRS, UPKO, n the rest.

SAPP had the guts, the principles and strong beliefs in their fight for the rights of All Sabahans !! Nothing more than that !!

So what are the rest of the BN components doing, worried about losing your wealth once outside BN ?The whole of Malaysia have awakened, n they know who to vote next time. Allah is great , believe me !!

  51. Najib: Talks won't be at expense of non-Muslims

Nothing to worry about????? Secret meetings are normal?? Talking about a Malay- Islam Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak and we should not worry? Who can believe this? Everything promissed before 12 GE was broken and EXACTLY the OPPOSITE has taken place! Right?

Who likes to become a Muslim because the government says so? Who wants to go backwards in development? Who wants to live in a country where the police and others are tempering with evidence? Anwar has to be the next PM soon! If not we are going back in time and loose out big!

  53. If Pak Lah can't win over Selangor, his next strategy will be "We all Survive or Die Together in BN".

    Why and How ???

As he doesn't want any BN MPs to cross over to Pakatan, he will dissolve Parliament in quick haste like the previous Feb 13 announcement.

He will take a gamble to fight Pakatan once and for all......
If BN win again, he will bragged that he is better than Tun M in terms of sheer political war of survival !!
But if BN lost to Pakatan, all his men will sink and swim with him, thus realising his evil grip that all his BN members can never n ever will have crossed over to Anwar's new government.

He is a sly, cunning fox with an evil mind at work !

Beware him, fellow BN MPs. Better cross over now before he jumps over !!

    - JEANNE IS PROUD TO BE A MUSLIM

Islam is not about race or where you come from but is about doing good.

She was born of a Catholic Portuguese-Eurasion Family. She said her late mother was very understanding. Her early religious background had moulded her character and tolerance.

Sunday Nov. 5, 2006 in IPOH

Sometimes in Febrauary 2006 the MUFTI OF PERAK, DATUK SERI HARUSANNI ZAKARIA commented on the alleged over 100,000 Malay Muslim had renounced their religion. On October 21, 2006 the lady by the name of Raja Sherina (also using the names as Raja Norasshikin Raja Azman and Shireen)sms the Mufti a group of 600 Muslims would be baptised @ a churh in Silibin on Sunday led by Datuk Azhar Mansor.

    What happen?

Unrowdy crowd carrying placards demanded to see Datuk A. Mansor. They even scalled the church gate and entered the church compound. The police provide protection to the Church. "Simply inconceiveable" said Reverend Robin Arumugam

PM's responseAt the UMNO General Assembly on Wed, Nov. 15, 2006 touched of issue of religiuos intolerance amall a small group of Muslims who questioned long-accepted cultural practices.. These same groups are conjuring imaginery threats aimed at inciting Muslims hoping that they (Muslims) will become more intolerant of others.

Raja Sherina and her husband were arrested @ Alor Star General Hospital @ 9.30 am on Mon. November 20, 2006. After yhat there is nothing heard about them!

Mufti Datuk Seri Harusanni Zakaria was up till today NOT TOUCHED!

I talked to my former classmates in Primary schools and Secondary schools who has the privilage to study in gov't aided mission schools in East Malaysia. The all deplored both acts which occur in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Silibin, Ipoh and the recent demonstration outside and inside Bar Council premises.

The PROTEST by Malay from different political groups was to display their unhappiness on groups that allegedly wanted to question the priviledges of Malays and Muslims by organising a forum "CONVERSION TO ISLAM" This indicated their myopic views. Jeanne, PM's said Islam is a BEAUTIFUL religion and it is NOT about race (MALAY). You can really see a person who was a Catholic upbringing for 23 years before her conversion. We can see such an open view. But do we the rational demonstrated by the small extremist group or even the "GRAND MUFTI OF PERAK"?

I urge Jeaane to work on those trespassers and lecture them on she learnt as a Catholic and with that on how to become a good Muslim. NOT narrow-minded (myopic vs visioon 2020)

East Malaysian views of religion are poles apart from West Malaysian views. Even a person of supposedly high knowledge of Islam like the Mufti of Perak does no do good for NATION Building id plural society lik Malaysia.
