Exercise on Illegals must be sincere and holistic

I do share Dr Jeff's concern about the government's stand on the following issues and how they (govt) going to address this menace...

Daily Express (19/07/08)Jeffrey: What about them? Kota Kinabalu: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) wants to know what sort of actions will be taken by the Federal Special Cabinet Committee to address the Project IC and IMM13holders issue in Sabah.
Its Vice President Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan said the Federal Government should not pretend that it does not exist.
"These categories of people are also considered illegals," he said, Friday...

"Kota Kinabalu: Sabah will not face a shortage of workers in the plantation sector despite the Government's aim to flush out up to 150,000 illegal immigrants from the State early next month.

"Human Resources Deputy Minister Dato' Noraini Ahmad said there are enough locals who could take up the jobs left vacant by the illegals."
    ---------------------------
Illegal immigrants should be rounded up and deported. But it would be counterproductive to deport the plantation workers. Without the cheap foreign workers the plantations cannot make any profits. And if the plantations collsped, then the economy of Sabah will also collapse.

The solution is not to eliminate the cheap labor but only to eliminate the illegal immigrants who are threatening to become illegal citizens to take the high quality service and manufacturing jobs from the local citizens.

It is facetious to say that the jobs vacated by foreign plantation workers can be filled by locals. It is well known that the locals are too lazy and expect high wages that will not be cost effective for the plantation owners. Therefore, if the plantation owners had to rely on local workers, then ALL Sabah plantations will collapse and with it the economy of Sabah.

Furthermore, the local should not be competing with foreign cheap laborers. The government should be developing the Sabahan economy to provide high quality jobs in the service and the manufacturing sectors that will pay high wages expected by the local workers. The plantation owners cannot pay their workers wages as high as 1,000 ringgit or more per month. That is too much for the plantations to sustain. With the fertelizer inflating to more than 4,000 ringgit per ton, and all the other things such as fuel, insecticide, tax, etc. going up, it is just not possible for the plantation owners to make any profits if they have to pay high wages to use local workers.

Again, the government is trying to comply with the issue maliciously. In other words, the government is deliberately using the wrong solution that will make things even worse in the end, and then innocently claim that they are only trying to do what the people want. The people don't want the cheap labor to be deported. The people want the illegals who are here to swell the rank of the citizens to be deported. And the people want the government to develop the economy to create high paying jobs in the service and manufacturing sectors for the local workers.

Therefore, the solution for the government to do is not to deport the cheap foreign labor who are needed by the plantations to stay in business but to develop the economy to create high paying jobs in the service and manufacturing sectors for the local workers. In the end, the local people don't want and should not want to work at plantation jobs that pay some 500 ringgits per month. Nor do the local people want to work at the dirty sweaty back-breaking jobs on the plantations. The local people want to work in high paying jobs that pay 2,000 ringgit or more per month and located in air-conditioned offices or in clean and safe factories.

And the government must be condemned for their failure to provide high paying jobs that the local citizens deserve while destroying the plantation sector. As usual the government is just trying to cover their failure and incompetence at developing the economy and advancing the standard of living of the Sabah people.

In the end, the government is being as facetious as Mari Antoinette who said, "Let them eat cake." (The Sabahan workers don't want the lousy jobs currently held by the foreign cheap labor. And they won't be eating "cake" if they had to do dirty backbreaking jobs in plantations just as French peasants can't afford to eat cakes due to their poverty.)

And my Q is: Who likes to pay them 2000RM per month for beeing lazy and not willing to be productive? Asking first: How much you pay me? next is: How many days off?

As long ppl think the money grows on trees for ther bosses to pick, then they will not be better off in the future!!! Only hard work and the willingness to contribute to the business will earn respect and money - not sitting around and hoping no one will disturbe them by sending SMS

  3. Plantation workers should be properly documented and should never be allowed to become citiznes. It is perfectly easy to allow documented foreign cheap labor to work in the plantations while keeping out the undocumented foreigners. These are two separate problems and should not be lumped together.

In the end, it is the incompetence and the failure of the government to develop a robust economy in Sabah that can provide high paying jobs in the service and manufacturing secotrs that is causing all the problem.

The problem is also due to the sinister scheme of the UMNO-BN government to increase the Muslim population by allowing in illegals who quickly obtained citizenship to unbalance the proportion of the population and allow UMNO-BN to continue to dominate the government.

Therefore, the solution is to eliminate the illegals who are undocumented and unemployed. The plantation workers who are already documented should be allowed to continue their employment. These plantation workers should be given work passes that will forever make them ineligible for citizenship.

But the ultimate solution is to develop and expand the economy to provide high paying jobs in the service and manufacturing sectors.

In order to expand and develop the economy, Chinese who have capital and talents must be encouraged to immigrate into Sabah to create many profitable enterprises which will provide many high paying jobs for the local.

Only by increasing the Chinese population while decreasing the Muslim population will Sabah economy develop. And only if Sabah economy develop will the local people have high paying jobs. And if the local people have high paying jobs, then they will not care if the foreign cheap labor have low paying jobs in the plantations. And the increase in the Chinese population will also bring the proportion of the races in Sabah back to a proper proportion so that the Muslims don't have total control over the KDM natives.

  4. At the end of the days. It just end up a cheap talk and publicity by UMNO. The illegal muslim immigrants will still be there and outnumbered the local native population.

Not only Indon and pilipino are PTI, UMNO also invites the pakistanese as you guys can go to any corners of the kampungs in Sabah to see them doing AH LONG business without apply a trading license.

Sabah native is the SORE LOSER if compared to the Sarawak Iban where the Indon never dare to enter the Iban kampung.

This is the EVIL MASTER UMNO agenda or master plan! UMNO must GET LOST from Sabah if you guys want the illegal muslim immigrants to disappear in Sabah.

  5. The well-known saying, "Let them eat cake," was attributed to Marie-Antoinette who was the queen consort of Louise 16th. She had her head chopped off by the revolutionaries. The saying epitomizes her facetiousness and heartlessness to the sufferings of the French lower class. When told that the peasants had no bread to eat, she famously replied, let them eat cake. Obviously the peasants had no bread to eat because they were too poor to buy bread. And since cake was even more expensive than bread, it is facetious to advice them to eat cake. Therefore, it was a heartless thing for her to say and showed how much the French monarchy disregarded the suffering of the French people. The callousness of the French monarchy ultimately provoke the peasants to revolt and guillotined most if not all of the royal house.

It is similarly facetious for Noraini Ahmad to say, "Let the Sabah planters hire locals." It is already difficult for the planters to make any profit even with the low wages of the foreign cheap labor. It will wipe out the planters and drive many into bankruptcy if they had to hire locals who demand too high wages and could not work as hard as the foreign workers.

The callous attitude of the UMNO-BN government is demonstrated by this facetious disregard for the overall welfare of the Sabah people. They often deliberately do malicioius compliance to harm Sabahans even while pretending to help.

What does "malicioius compliance" mean? Let me give you one example. Let's say you ask somebody to close the door and he slammed the door so hard that he broke it off the hinge. He had complied with your request to close the door. But he had also harmed you by breaking the door thus causing you losses. In the end you lose more by asking him to do something.

And this is what the UMNO-BN government is doing. It is not really serious about getting rid of the illegal immigrants since it is the objective of the UMNO-BN government to increase the proporation of the Muslims by encouraging them to come to Sabah in the first place. But it will get rid of the workers who are indispensable to the plantations and the construction industries. In the end, Sabah economy will suffer for the loss of these cheap labor. But the real illegals who are given citizenship just keep increasing in number.

Therefore, the solution is to get rid of the illegal immigrants who are here without visas and who are creating social unrest and insecurity. Those who have no investment and no education and cannot contribute to the welfare of the state must be deported. On the other hand, the Chinese who have investment and expertise must be given permanent residence and citizenship to encourage them to come into Sabah to expand and develop the economy to provide the high paying jobs in service and manufacturing secotrs that the local people want.

The solution must be holistic. It must accomplish the following objectives:

    1. allow the agricultural and construction industries to have access to cheap labor on which they depend to make any profit.

    2. get rid of those illegal immigrants who are competing with the locals in the service and manufacturing industries, especially those who engaged in morally shady jobs.

    3. encourage those Chinese who have investment capital and entrepreneurial expertise to enter and stay so that they can develop and expand Sabah economy to provide high paying jobs in the service and manufacturing for the local natives.

Such a holistic immigration solution will ultimately enable the economy to develop rapidly while solving the illegal immigrant problem and put the proportion of the races among the KDM native, the Chinese, and the Muslims back in balance. This is the only way to make Sabah a prosperous and secure place for all races to live. It is ultimately good for the Muslims too because if the economy of Sabah collapsed with too many Indonesians and Filipinos, then they too will be as poor as their cousins back in Indonesia and the Philippines. Then there is no point for them to come to Sabah to begin with. Only if Sabah can be developed into an advanced and prosperous place does it make sense for them to come.

But in order for such a holistic program to be implemented the government must be competent, efficient, and really cares about the people. And since UMNO-BN government is neither competent nor caring about the welfare of the KDM natives and the Chinese, it is necessary to get rid of the UMNO-BN government from Sabah first. Then Sabah can be developed for the benefit of all.

  6. In the prior post I said:

    1. allow the agricultural and construction industries to have access to cheap labor on which they depend to make any profit.

It is understood that these workers can be granted temporary work passes only and will never be allowed to apply for permanent residence or citizneship. Any workers on work passes who had been granted IC should have their IC revoked.

On the other hand, those Chinese who have been in Sabah for decades and who have large investments and who are still on work passes or other temporary passes should be immediately given citizenship to motivate them to stay and reward them for their contribution to the economy of Sabah.

  7. what the BN=UMNO is trying to do is to shut the mouth of sabahans by giving short term no result solution. They are trying to buy time until UMNO can consolidate. Cant you all see that !!!!

Once UMNO is strenghten, they will go on a witch hunt to flush out all MPs/BN Leaders whom they perceive as a threat to UMNO and sent them to a land of no return.

    SOROS REPLY TO MAHATHIR
    adapted from Bangkok Post
I have always said Dr Mahathir is a menace to his own people. Now only you can see the effects of his foolishness when the ringgit has halved its value overnight and your economy goes kaput. Single handedly you have caused hardship to millions of your own people. You have built useless mega projects at tremendous cost to the country. The telecoms tower in Kuala Lumpur and the highest building in the world show how stupid you are. Not only does it cause massive traffic jam, it has totally no purpose. If you need high ground for telecoms antennae a nearby mountain is there for free. This tower has no
purpose from the ground up to 300 metres. The satellites make this totally unnecessary.
A fool and his money are soon parted. The only thing is you are the fool and the money belongs to Malaysians. You make 20% in every project, you have real estate in Japan and billions of shares corruptly acquired. Your 3 sons are worth 8 billion US$. Where do they get this money? Of course, corruption. You are known as the Marcos of Malaysia, having enriched yourself to the tune of billions.
You dare to shed crocodile tears during UMNO delegates meeting about the ills of corruption. Yet you are the most corrupt of all the prime ministers before you. A thief is crying thief and hopes people look the other way. Who dares to say anything when the chief is caught with his hands in the candy jar? You said wisdom is not the monopoly of the West. So is foolishness. You have more foolishness than most people would believe. Billions are used to build two high rise Petronas buildings that benefit nobody. It now stand tall, a symbol of stupidity and irresponsibility Instead they just add on to traffic jam. What is this reclamation of 10 islands off Kedah? Totally absurd and stupid. Of course your benefit is 20%. And the bridge across from Malacca to Sumatra across international waters? Why not build a bridge to the moon? I am sure you still can get your 20%.
You called me a Moron. How can a Moron make so much money. By allowing short selling and borrowing millions of shares from your banks we fund managers made millions out of your inexperience and poor regulations. You lose all Malaysians money, therefore you are the Moron. Now you know too late and start crying over split milk. In Australia you are known as the recalcitrant ego maniac; in UK the
corrupt bastard because of your stupid purchase of our movie studio and the 290 million ringgit Lotus racing car plant and the shady Pergau dam loans from the UK. They are useless to us and you still want to buy them. What about buying British reject submarines through your agent, of course. The agent/ broker is designed to make millions out of Malaysian government. Your purchase of our battleships is at least 50% more than others are paying. Your purchase of 9 hospitals from UK lock, stock and barrel does not support your local architects or your industry and the British send you obsolete medical equipment. The design is atrocious, one end to the other is half a kilometer and there is no CT-scan, an absolute necessity. In the UK your face appears in no less than 17 newspapers as a corrupt dictator. In Malaysia you are known as the (IBM) International Big Mouth. In Japan they call him the ’smallest one’ (brain size). In Pacific island the Santa Claus (giving advice left and right). In south America they call
him the parrot (he talks a lot but does not know what it is about). In Manila the living Marcos

    国阵政府 NO.1!
    No Eye See | 7月19日 傍晚5点50分

    5.为何著名部落客拉惹柏特拉被提控?控方是谁?朋友,如果我指责你的不是,你不高兴但又没去报案告我诽谤,而且还声称捉我不是你的决定,但警方依然来捉我。警方是鸡婆?还是“大细”?不管是鸡婆还是“大细”,我想警方没有理由来LOKAP我!除非……大家“心照”!

    6.为何汽油上价又要津贴625令吉?那不是多此一举?如要如此补贴,何不叫精算师在加减乘除这625准备要拨出的数目,减少汽油起价的的价格?人民不是精算师,但百姓们还是认为625津贴是多此一举。单是人民特地去邮政局领625现金所消耗(不用“消费”而用“消耗”是因为此举是多余和浪费而不是刺激经济,国油一方面鼓吹精明用油,政府却背道而驰)的汽油金钱,凑集起来可帮助很多贫穷的居民。其实,汽油大涨78仙和625津贴所带来的负面影响,远远胜于百姓拿了625后一下子的喜悦。

    7.为何赛哈密说封路就封路,设立路障就设立路障?警方就因为他的可靠消息而让市民被逼变成为车龙里的乌龟!可笑,看吧,汽油又不小心蒸发掉多少。政府又背道而驰,再次要国民浪费汽油。难道沙比里有“先见之明”,知道国油很快就所剩无几,因为政府会陆续不断要人民在不小心的情况下浪费汽油?所以辩论会当晚,沙比里死都反对安华降油政策。殊不知道有朝一日我国国油真的不小心给我们百姓都给蒸发完?

    8.政府要年青人关心政治,但又设大专法令,限制学生参与政治活动,又要马儿跑,又不给马吃草。想怎样?突然想到以下数学题:

    年青人=关心政治;大专生=年青人,所以合乎逻辑的答案是:大专生=关心政治;

    但,国阵政府的答是:大专生≠关心政治.

    啊,如果答案是大专生≠关心政治。数学专家也可能会答错,所以结论是:国阵政府>数学专家,数学专家的数学不如国阵政府,国阵政府 NO.1!

    "巫统不会等到下届大选”
    蔡添强:变天乃救国问题!

    ■日期/Jul 19, 2008 ■时间/07:43:25 am
    ■新闻/家国风云 ■作者/特约记者黄义杰

    【本刊特约记者黄义杰撰述】人民公正党全国宣传主任、吉隆坡峇都区国会议员蔡添强昨晚的该党第一场《重燃烈火,变天在即》全国巡回座谈会上透露,有迹象显示国阵主干政党巫统并没有通过下届大选才夺回五州政权的打算,而是要不择手段地夺权,因此为了人民利益与安宁,人民不应该认为人民联盟得等到下一届大选才促成联邦政权轮替。

    为了配合最近变幻莫测的政局,人民公正党将举行系列《重燃烈火,变天在即》全国巡回座谈会,首场座谈会昨晚在吉隆坡暨雪兰莪中华大会堂举行,主讲人除了蔡添强、还有民主行动党槟州日落洞区国会议员黄泉安及不久前刚加入人民公正党的马华公会妇女组前中委林礼菲。

    约有150名公众出席聆听昨晚的座谈会,值得一提的是,蔡添强在座谈会中途认出了前教总副主席陆庭瑜也坐在公众席上,这名德高望重的华教元老的出现遂获得全场掌声示意。座谈会结束时,人民公正党也宣布当场共筹得马币919元20分,作为接下来系列座谈会的经费。

    阿都拉不是果断领袖

    黄泉安主讲时,批评首相兼巫统主席阿都拉巴达威不是一个果断的领导人,没有才干且做事拖泥带水,质疑他能否带领马来西亚安然走出经济萧条和通货膨胀的“双龙炮”夹击。

    他形容我国正处于内忧外患,不但周期性全球经济衰退及国际原油价上涨是两大难题,民联上台后也发现,巫统从支部、区部到总会仍停留在“分贼赃”的“山头部落”。

    黄泉安(右图)指出两点,政府重整燃油津贴制度后,导致一般老百姓及小型民间企业首当其冲,却对朋党公司“网开一面”,继续提供津贴,特别是独立发电厂,如杨忠礼电力(YTL Power)、马拉科夫(Malakoff)、电力科技(Powertek)、云顶杉源(Genting Sanyen)、波德申电力(Port Dickson Power)等等,从1997年至2007年间共获得马币370亿元津贴,在燃油涨价后此津贴却完全没有收回。

    另一点则是,政府原定今年7月1日后让天然气价格上涨167%,因此早先建议国家能源公司随着天然气价格上涨调高电费。无论如何,天然气价格最终没有上涨,但国能依然调高电费,又是一项惠及朋党、苦了百姓之举。他也讥讽政府只会在作出不合理的措施后,给回一丁点儿的马币625元燃油回扣,形同止痛药(Panadol),治标不治本。

    蔡添强发言时,呼吁民众不要再陷入对巫统的痴迷,别以为反贪污局最近大力调查移民局舞弊事件,就如看到阿都拉展现改革之心,实际上这只是阿都拉面对政治危机时的作秀而已,惟有政党轮替及建立起良好制度才能保障人民利益。

    巫统不会等到下一届大选

    蔡添强(右图)表示,巫统仍是马来西亚政坛中的主角,它也在国阵里继续一党独大,谁能和巫统一决雌雄就能备受媒体青睐,否则只好靠边站;“所以马华公会党选的消息是(刊登)在报章第八版以后,绝对不会是在前面四版……不管谁在年底将当选马华公会总会长,他依然改变不了一党独大的局面。”

    蔡添强分析说,大选过后,数据显示巫统失去了接近一半的马来人选票及接近四分之三的非马来人选票,但现今巫统仍玩弄种族课题,其所作所为显示它对争取回非马来人选票没有兴趣。

    蔡添强分析说,巫统即使专注于争取马来人选票,要在下一届大选夺回三分二国会议席仍行不通,而且也仍无法夺回至少三个州属的政权;“在我眼中来看,巫统对下一届选举没有兴趣,它并不打算面对下一届选举。”

    蔡添强继续分析说,阿都拉宣布交棒时间表,并不代表局势已平稳,反而两边不讨好,因为纳吉和慕尤丁不会安于现状,巫统的内部斗争将会继续,各股势力将施压阿都拉夺回五州政权。

    “通过资金管制、腰斩大型工程、甚至所谓的国会示威引起的警方封路等,都是要让人民厌恶民联,转变态度成‘反对在野党’。”

    他认为,时间一久,巫统一定会不惜以破坏国家经济来夺权,更不会等到下一届大选和民联公平竞选。

    因此,他指出,巫统目前就只是在制造混乱局势,而国阵其他成员党却无可奈何。他半开玩笑地说,沙巴进步党主席杨德利就很聪明,纯粹以两个议席来牵动国阵,让沙巴人民自己判断,反观国阵其他华基政党却只会戴起道德面具,说不愿棒打“落水狗”、不愿背弃“兄弟”,不敢毅然退出国阵。

    “这些是无聊话,巫统得势时没有照顾其他成员党的利益,现在却反要照顾回巫统的利益……我看掉下去的不是狗,还没有掉下去的才是走狗。”

    因此,他认为,人民公正党实权领袖安华依布拉欣力促国阵议员跳槽,是要确保民联的生存,而许多人认为民联应等到下届大选才执政联邦政府,是天真的想法。

    蔡添强和黄泉安都呼吁国阵成员党尽快退出国阵,加入民联,因为这已“不是道德问题,而是救国问题。”

    回教党坚决拒绝巫统橄榄枝

    蔡添强也透露,巫统无时无刻都在策划建立马来人政权,最近巫统要和回教党会谈,是因为巫统一直在向回教党伸出橄榄枝,主张和回教党共同创立“马来人轴心”(Paksi Melayu)的联合执政形式,并打算创立后忽略其他国阵成员党的去留,一切以宪法中明文规定的马来人权益为斗争主轴。

    “我们应该支持回教党,尤其党的长老们,一口拒绝这样的条件,他们只接受回教党和巫统一起讨论如何加强马来人的经济、回教地位等,但不能接受和巫统结盟。”

    蔡添强也谈及各族人民参与国家政治改革派的比例。他认为华人很少参与在野党,反而则多参与马华公会,这样会容易造成让较多参与在野党的马来人对华人存有偏见。他在回答公众提问时,也表示马来人的改革之心是不容质疑的,安华及拉惹柏特拉已付出毕生参与改革事业,很多马来人也是如此。

    林礼菲也补充说,其实很多马来人已看穿了巫统的把戏,知道新经济政策给他们并没有带来利益。她也举周二晚上的《今日成立政府,明日燃油降价》辩论进行时,一位巫裔朋友传短讯给她,批评新闻部长“拍马屁拍到满嘴泡沫”。此言一出,立即引起哄堂。

    乱象乃变天前正常现象

    林礼菲(右图)认为,十年前的烈火烧出了今年3月8日的小变天,9月16日将会是大变天,而小变天让人民看到一个“跛脚鸭首相”,现在的所谓乱象是变天前的正常现象,人民感到不安也是正常的心理震撼。

    林礼菲认为,公平的制度才能解决问题,而政权始终必须轮替,才能建立起良好制度。

    她也非议周一的国会乱象,让她想聆听不信任首相动议也不得其门而入,即使向保安打出蔡添强的名号,也不获通行,最后只好和搭乘另一位国会议员的车子,才成功“偷运”进去;她调侃道:“原来要进去国会也非常辛苦”。

    蔡添强也说,民联时常接到人民的反映,希望“你们上面不要再乱,我们老百姓只想安乐生活”,但他辩护说,其实现在并没有“乱”,人民的生命财产并没受到威胁,而纯粹是新闻比较“精彩”而已。他反过来呼吁华社应该改变这种观念,反之应更关心国家政局,共同促进两线制。

  11. Dear Malaysians,

CSI Malaysia read with shocked about the article from Aliran News and asked why Syed Hamid and Pak Lah were more concerned about Anwar’s sodomy case as compared with a Police rapist was alleged with the force rape of a young underaged school girl in a police lockup at a police station ?

Who is the greatest national threats on the cases mentioned above - the alleged Anwar sodomy case or the alleged Police rapist in the PDRM?

Pak Lah should sacked Syed Hamid as a Home Minister if he cannot even differentiate between a voluntary sexual intercoursed between Anwar and Saiful in a condo if found to be true as compared with the brutual sex intercoursed by force of rape by a Police rapist on a young underaged school girl in the authority police lockup at a police station if the police is found to be guilty.

In a rhetorical stance, the Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar posed this question to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, “What is he afraid of?”

Aliran News would like to pose this very question to Syed Hamid, “What is he afraid of?” Why are they afraid to release the police report lodged by Mohd Saiful Bukari Azlan against Anwar Ibrahim on 28 June alleging sodomy?

Syed Hamid is quoted by the New Straits Times as saying, “Give blood sample for the sake of truth.” Aliran News would like to tell Syed Hamid, “Give the police report for the sake of justice.”

Why double standards are practised in the two serious cases as mentioned above ?

Which crime is most notorious national threat agenda today, Anwar voluntary sodomy case or the force police rapist on a young underaged school girl in a police station ?

Which subject article above is CONSPIRACY case i.e. Anwar or the Police Rapist ?

MALAYSIANS ARE MORE WORRIED ABOUT THE POLICE RAPIST CASE AS COMPARED WITH THE ALLEGED ANWAR SODOMY CONSPIRACY CASE.

RAKYAT MALAYSIANS DO NOT CLOSED ONE EYE ON THE ALLEGED POLICE RAPIST BUT WILL CLOSED OUR EARS LISTENING TO MORE LIES ON ANWAR SODOMY CASE TODAY.
    ===========================
    For Sabah problems ?

WHO IS THE NATIONAL THREAT TODAY ?

In Malaysia they are spending millions to lure tourists and you talk rubbish scaring every foreigner away. “When he is dumb he is doubted a fool, when he opens his mouth it removes all doubt.”
While I agree the West does not have the monopoly to wisdom, your actions are not the wisest either. Your EAEC has totally no support even in Asean. Your South-South dialogue met with the same fate and what is this I hear of the Bridge from Malaysia to Indonesia covering 20 miles across International shipping lanes? How crazy can one get? Even the Japanese don’t have the money. This world’s stupidity seems to be concentrated in one man’s mind - yours.
The multimedia super corridor - MSC -. Well in USA its most stupid concept because we Americans, would have thought of it light years before. Even if it makes money, we can copy this concept can’t we?
Why do you want to spend your hard-earned money doing questionable projects? It will be like the Bakun project. Abandoned fund wasted and another white elephant. I always say politicians should not be
involved in business. Your ministers are also businessmen and almost every official is enriching himself. Look at Rafidah Aziz, selling thousands of Approved Permit for cars each worth 20-30 thousand
Malaysian dollars. Why not your government sell them and make the money? She has acquired millions of shares meant for bumis for free before she agrees to list them. Look at your Selangor Chief Minister
collecting millions for approving high rise buildings from businessman. He is worth a few billions. Unfortunately he was caught with a few millions pocket money in Australia. Every Chief minister is
awarding useless projects to his cronies then collecting secret pay offs on the side. The Land development Boards and the Economic Development Boards are used to bailout any loses suffered by politicians. The profits they keep, the loses they force the Government bodies to absorb. How can your poor ever close the gap when every good deal is snatched by your politicians? How can your country get out of poverty if all the billions of corruption money is taken out of the country?
Look at the Sarawak Chief Minister selling billions worth of timber concessions under the table; selling every piece of state land to businessman without tender; using his own companies to obtain lucrative government contracts; selling approval signatures for a fee ‘you pay I approve’. He has 8 billion US stashes overseas. Thousands of acres of land are given to one or two companies while thousands of
poor people still live in cardboard makeshift homes; have no water and shit into the river. Thousands of acres of land are sold to companies for plantations while the native don’t have even one acre to their
name. He is selling sand near the beaches to one company for earth filling and then ask the government to spend millions to protect the coastline when erosion occurs. He lost 300 millions of the Sarawak
government money trying to make computer chips. He has built a port in Northern Sarawak town in water so shallow it needs dredging every year.
The Prime Minister built highways without tender, your cronies get the deal and the price double. Your Langkawi airport runway is built at double the cost by your own company Ekran

    The corruption of Mahathir

This tower has no purpose from the ground up to 300 metres. The satelites make this totally unneccesary.

A fool and his money are soon parted. The only thing is you are the fool and the money belongs to Malaysians. You make 20% in evey project, you have real estate in Japan and billions of shares corruptly acquired.

Totally absurb and stupid.

In Australia you are known as the recalcitrant ego maniac; in UK the corrupt bastard because of your stupid purchase of our movie studio and the 290 million ringgit Lotus racing car plant and the shady Pergau dam loans from the UK.

In south America they call him the parrot (he talks a lot but does not know what it is about).
    In Manila the living Marcos.

The Prime Minister built highways without tender, your cronies get the deal and the price double. Your Langkawi airport runway is built is double the cost by your own company Ekran.

The Malaysian nation has lost at least 30 billions during your last 10 years of corrupt rule. One billions lost from the purchase of phantom skyhawk war planes nobody has ever seen (are they still in the Nevada desert USA?). 3 billion lost from the London tin scandal (you thought you could corner the London tin market without knowing the Americans have a stockpile! Stupidity at its best. 6 billion Perwaja steel mill where nobody even know where the money goes, 3 billion bank Bumiputra scandal where George Tan bribed all the bank officials to lend him the money. 6 billion forex lost by Bank Negara (the fool and his money are soon parted) and 6 billion to build three of the worlds tallest buildings (built by Japanese and Koreans and furniture imported from France - not Malaysia) and 1 billion lost from purchase of British warship including fees paid to the broker and under the table. Add the 10 billion you stole and 5 billion taken by Ministers.

In the 1997 the World Journalists meeting voted Dr Mahathir the Prime Minister of the Decade. It sounded strange to everybody until it was revealed those who voted against are threatened by IRD officers and with losing their jobs. In New York the United Nations 1997 meeting,

the most corrupt Prime Minister of the decade is President Suharto and second Dr Mahathir (Actually Dr Mahathir should take first place but bribed the Indonesian to take honour of Number One.

There are Fifty thousand of your university students are not given places in Malaysia but are good enough for places overseas resulting in billion of dollars lost. The British and the Australians are thinking how stupid.Your best students are sent overseas raising their standards while as in most countries the best are kept in local universities and the rejects sent overseas. A university student in Hong Kong is much more prestigeous than any Australian counterpart.

You have been colonised by the British so long you cannot even educate your own people. Look at Hong Kong or Singapore less than 5% study overseas. All the money saved. Your country could save billions if every student overseas is recalled to a local university, and at the same time raising your own standards.

Your people are still without shoes, without land to farm, without homes, bathing in rivers shitting in hole in the ground, without water and electricity. Your cities are concrete jungles without greenery and open spaces. Your KL is jammed with traffic. Yet you still keep on building high rises. You should come down from the clouds and stop daydreaming and firmly plant your feet in the ground. Your schools are cramped 500 students to an acre and thousands of acres are given free to some politician who leaves them idle. Your parks are being taken by politicians to build shophouses and every cabinet minister is a landgrabbing businessman who build roads only to their cronies’ land.

    The Malaysians’ prayer

“Ya Allah, we thank you for your gifts of timber, oil and grain. But then the devil sent us corrupt Mahathir without a Brain And look we are back to square one again So just take Dr Mahathir back to Hell And we will be alive and well.”

In China people have been shot for embezzling one thousand dollars. With 8 billions you have stolen therefore you would be shot 80 thousand times.

Now you are leading an anti-corruption campaign. We all know what you should do. Look yourself in the mirror. You see the crook there? Then use your left hand and handcuff your right hand.

You have put the opposition leader and his son in jail when they said in parliament you are the richest PM in the world. And his colleague

Mr Karpal Singh too for 2 years. So I get a reward or bribe if I now say you are the poorest PM in this world?

Your 3 sons are sitting in the board of directors of more than 200 companies. They must have been educated in Harvard school of business and obtained distintions? Or is it “you don’t know me you don’t do business in Malaysia” law that applies. Billions of ringgit of Employee’s Provident Funds and public Petonas funds are used to bail out your sons who make losses investing in every venture you thought you could make money. How unethical and corrupt.

Every one of your politicians are sitting on the boards of tens of companies making thousands without any effort, lending their VIP names to borrow millions from local banks without collateral. Now these have become non performing loans. Now you want 20 millions Malaysian to sacrifice for the folly of ONE man? Why not the fool resign and admit he wasted and took most of the money. I could teach you how to put your economy on tract but first you must apologize to the Jews and the Malaysian people as well.

  16. Malaysian government needs to be separated from Islam.

    ----------------------
    http://www.malaysia-today.net/content/view/10143/84/

“Already, Najib has declared that Malaysia has never been secular because "being secular, by Western definition, means separation of the Islamic principles from the way we govern the country."

“It is tragic that the horrible mess is haunting a country that is still considered as a model for emulation by other Muslim nations to be in tune with modernity. And a common Malaysian feels outraged, as could be seen from a comment in local media: "Are we now witnessing two elephants trampling the grass as they battle? One elephant with a viper in place of his trunk and another sporting a cobra for its? Both have lawyers who have scant respect for Islamic values?"”
    --------------------------------------------------------

Separating the way Malaysia governs the country from the Islamic principles may be the very thing that will make Malaysia an advanced country instead of a third world country kept afloat by its large oil incomes. There is blatant racism and religious bigotry as set forth in the dogma of ketuanan Melayu and ketuanan Islam which literally mean Malay supremacy and Islamic supremacy. The rule of Malaysia under the Islamic principles coupled with Malay supremacist racism has been ruining the lives of many millions of Chinese, Indians, and other non-Malays. It has made corruption the common way of life which ultimately resulted in the stunted development of the Malaysian economy.

The Malays like to boast that Malaysia is the most advanced of the Islamic countries. The reason why Malaysia in the most advanced Islamic country is not because of the strict adherence of Malaysian government to Islamic principles but because Malaysia is getting tens of billions of US dollars of income from its annual production of some half a billion barrels of oil equivalence. Without this oil income, the Malaysian economy would not have been able to sustain such white elephants as the Petrona Towers and other costly projects that serve little purposes and the large subsidies to the common Malays.

The other reason why Malaysia is more advanced than other Muslim countries is the fact that 25% of the population is Chinese who provides the entrepreneurial backbone of Malaysia. For instance, the Chinese owned and operated banks are the most profitable and efficient banks in Malaysia. The Balayan Banking, the biggest Malay owned bank, is virtually bankrupt without large subsidies from the government. But the Chinese are severely marginalized and millions had been deported or left Malaysia out of despair. For instance, in Sabah the proportion of the Chinese population has been reduced from some 30% or more in 1963 to less than 10% today while the proportion of the Malay increased from less than 1% in 1963 to close to 15% today. This is obviously the result of deliberate policy of racial cleansing against the non-Malays especially against the Chinese. The Indians also has their population reduced from some 15% in 1963 to some 7% today.

It is safe to say that without the Chinese and other non-Malay and non-Islamic peoples propping up the economy, Malaysia would have become one of the least advanced Muslim countries in the world.

Therefore, the only things that Malaysia has for other Muslim countries to emulate is a lot of oil and a large Chinese population. Without which Malaysia would have been just as poor and backward as the least developed Muslim countries in the world. The fact that Malaysia has achieved its limited progress is not due to its adherence to the Islamic principles but in spite of the suppression and oppressiveness of the Islamic principles.

The hope of Malaysia, therefore, does not lie in adherence to the Islamic principles but in disconnecting from the Islamic principles which is nothing more than a suppressive roadblock to economic development and enlightened social justice. Only by discarding Islamic principles in governing the country will Malaysia have any hope of creating a society that is just and prosperous.

It is in the nature of a democratic society to appear chaotic. This is because it is not for the people to support the government blindly but to scrutinize its performance and condemn and remove those who are corrupt or incompetent. As the people speak out to condemn the corrupt and incompetent, it gives the appearance that the nation is chaotic. But there is obvious method in this chaos as the result is a continuous improvement in the quality of the government as the corrupt and the incompetent are continuously removed and replaced by more honest and efficient officials.

In the final analysis, there is a total incompatibility between democratic principles and Islamic bigotry. Where democracy champions equality and justice for all and provides the social framework to seek truth, Islamic bigotry impose special rights for some and irrational moral laws that curtail the freedom of all but a privileged few while imposing a total curtailment on seeking truth. It is not a coincidence that the more a country adhered to Islamic laws the more backward that country becomes. Therefore, the worst thing that could happen to Malaysia is for it to become a country governed not by enlightened laws based on human rights and democracy but ruled by the irrational and oppressive Islamic bigotry. It is simply oxymoronic to mention Muslim country and modernity in the same sentence. There can never be any such thing as a modern Muslim country.

It is obvious that Western society is not the last word in modernity either. The Homo economicus model of the neo classical economic theory has produced the mentality that greed and disregard for others’ welfare is the norm. In short a Homo economicus is nothing more than a sociopath and a society of sociopath can never develop beyond the lowest level. The fact that Western nations are very advanced with robust economies would argue that their economies are not run by Homo economicus but by people who are guided by virtues of honesty and trust. The model of Homo economicus is now being challenged by economists and scientists who think that social values are based on human nature that is in turn based on the organization and the function of the brain. For instance oxytocin has been demonstrated to increase trust and trustworthiness. Ultimately, the enlightened human society is based on the human nature that is rooted in empathy and the natural human disposition to cooperate and help each other. This is as Mencius had said 2,300 years ago that compassion is the root of benevolence and it is human nature to be compassionate. This is now being confirmed by modern scientists experimentally through the study of the brain and through the study of human psychology through the game theory.

Therefore, in the end, a modern society that is enlightened and just cannot be based on the irrational bigotry of religions and least of all the Islamic religion. A modern society can only be based on the real understanding of the human nature through the study of the brain and its function to identify the physiological basis for virtues so that the society can be reshaped to provide justice, freedom, security and prosperity for all.

Those who wish to learn more about brain function and virtues can read the book edited by Paul J. Zak titled “Moral Market.” If you cannot find this book in your local book store, you can order it through amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com.

  17. THE CONSPIRACY?

PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi admitted that he had personally met with "highest-level" PAS leaders three times to discuss Islam, Malay unity and other issues.

The Prime Minister however declined to reveal whom the leaders were, merely saying that they were top-level leaders who could make decisions in the Islamist opposition party.

  18. SABAHAN MPS OUR DAYS AS A KING'S MAKER ARE MERELY DREAMS. THE BASTARD PM AND UMNO WILL NEVER ALLOW SABAH AND SARAWAK AS A KING'S MAKER. SO ANIFAH AND GHAPUR YOU ARE MERELY STRAY DOGS OF UMNO.
(The Star) - Talks between PAS and Umno have advanced to another stage with Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi saying that he has met “very high level” PAS leaders three times.

The Prime Minister declined to reveal who the leaders were but said they were top-level leaders who could make decisions in PAS.

PAS spiritual adviser Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, however, was not present during the discussions, he said.

”The meetings are at the initial stage. There is no need to give other details as you will make all sorts of speculation,” Abdullah told reporters after the launch of the National Cooperative Day here yesterday.

In an immediate response, PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang issued a statement confirming that the high-level meetings did take place and discussions had centred on Islam and the Malay issues.

“The first meeting occurred immediately after the recent general election and it involved PAS deputy president Nasharudin Mat Isa, its Terengganu commissioner Datuk Mustapha Ali and Shah Alam MP Abd Khalid Samad,'' Hadi said, adding that the meeting had been reported to PAS' central committee and it's Majlis Syura Ulama or consultative council.

“The council unanimously decided to give its blessings to the president, deputy president and the secretary-general to intensify efforts to integrate Muslim folks and the people of Malaysia based on Islamic principles,'' he added.

He said following the council's decision, a subsequent meeting was held between Abdullah and Nasharudin at the Parliament building.

“PAS is prepared to ensure the success of the muzakarah (dialogue) with Umno for the benefit of Muslims and the Malays,'' Hadi said.

News of the discussions between the two major Malay parties first broke when Hadi admitted in an article in Harakah that the party had held discussions with individuals from Umno to look into political cooperation and issues concerning Muslims and Malays.

The PAS-Umno talks, however, seemed to have split the party as Nik Aziz said he was open to the idea of “small discussions” between PAS and Umno members but not party-to-party meetings.

Abdullah had previously said that he was ready to hold discussions with PAS leaders to strengthen unity among Muslims in the country.

Yesterday, Abdullah said the two sides agreed that they should not fight about issues relating to religion.

“We are talking about some issues which I think are important.

“It is very important that we don’t fight about matters relating to religion. If religious matters are politicised, it will bring about problems to the Muslims.

“There are several other topics discussed but there is no need to elaborate,” he added.

Asked whether Umno had set conditions during the discussions, Abdullah replied: “Why should we set conditions? It is troublesome. The discussions were sincere. We discussed whatever views we felt appropriate to be discussed.”

On the collaboration between PAS, PKR and DAP, he said: “We didn’t talk about their cooperation with others.”

Asked when actual discussions were going to take place, Abdullah said the meetings he held were serious. “It is not a game.“

On Nik Aziz’s proposal that there should be a third party at the discussions, the Prime Minister said: “At this stage, I have not considered whether there is a need for a third party or not.”

Yesterday, when told what Abdullah had said, Nik Aziz changed his stand about the dialogue with Umno, saying he was open to it.

Nevertheless, he insisted that a third party needed to be present during the dialogue.

Nik Aziz said he was unaware of any informal discussions taking place between PAS leaders and Abdullah.

Umno supreme council member Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal said the muzakarah (dialogue) was good to unite the people.

“As the minister in charge of unity, I encourage such discussions as they will benefit the people when there is unity regardless of political ideology,” said Shafie, who is the Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister.

Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said Abdullah should act as the Prime Minister of Malaysia by taking into consideration the interest of all Malaysians instead of just one race.

In Ipoh after opening the Taman Tasek Damai DAP branch at Kampung Tawas in Ipoh, DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang said the party was not aware of what was going on in the Umno-PAS talks.

DAP chairman Karpal Singh said any discussions between Umno and PAS need to be endorsed by Pakatan Rakyat.

“I think a matter like this has far-reaching consequences and should be agreed upon first,” he said, adding that the matter was never brought before Pakatan Rakyat.

  19. Murder Most Foul
    Written by St Low

Malaysia’s legal pursuit of Anwar Ibrahim is destroying the country’s reputation

Unleashing two thoroughly corrupt law enforcement officials to go after Anwar - Abdul Ghani Patail, the head of the anti-corruption agency, and Musa Hassan, the head of the police - who plainly fabricated evidence in Anwar's 10-year-old conviction on the same offense, is particularly egregious.

    John Berthelsen, ASIA SENTINEL

It is about time for Malaysia to drop the charade. Attempting to convict opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim of forcible sodomy is an embarrassment in contrast with the completely ignored and much more serious allegations linking the deputy prime minister to the execution-style murder of his reputed former girlfriend.

As has been reported widely, two sworn declarations have been filed that raise reasonable suspicions that the October 2006 murder of Mongolian woman Altantuya Shaariibuu is tied directly to Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak and his wife, Rosmah Mansor. Yet instead of this high profile politician being in the dock to explain himself, one of those who filed a sworn declaration about his actions is about to go on trial for criminal libel. The other was dragooned into recanting his statement before he fled the country.

The courts and the legal system have deliberately overlooked allegations of Najib's complicity in the Mongolian woman's murder, and considerable related evidence of massive corruption on his part in the purchase of three French submarines for the Malaysian military - a purchase that Altantuya apparently participated in as a translator. This has been pushed under the carpet repeatedly and now the nation is being distracted by accusations of Anwar's peccadilloes, real or fabricated.

Mahathir Mohammad, the long-serving prime minister who quit in 2002, had a single ambition - to reach developed-nation status by 2020. But you cannot be a first-world country with a legal system whose main characteristics are shared by the likes of Zimbabwe, Burma and North Korea. Mahathir, of course, bears a major part of the blame for the legal system, starting from his destruction of the judiciary in the 1980s. But what is going on now, six years after he was succeeded by Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, is nothing more than the United Malays National Organisation's manipulation of the system a la Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe. This has nothing to do with ideology but with the dubious necessity of maintaining a political party in power.

When the legendary American bank robber Willie Sutton once was asked why he robbed banks, he famously replied: "That's where the money is." Government in Malaysia is where the money is, and that is where UMNO intends to stay despite its disastrous March 8 election results, which cost the national ruling coalition the two-thirds hold on parliament it has enjoyed for half a century. There is no better example of this than the submarine and its ties to the murder of Altantuya.

As Asia Sentinel has repeated frequently, according to testimony in the trial of Altantuya's accused murderer Abdul Razak Baginda, her then-lover and one of the three men accused of killing her, the murdered woman accompanied him to Paris at a time when Malaysia's defense ministry, headed by Najib, was negotiating through a Malaysian company, Perimekar Sdn Bhd, to buy two Scorpene submarines and a used Agosta submarine produced by the French government under a French-Spanish joint venture, Armaris. Perimekar at the time was owned by a company called Ombak Laut, which was wholly owned by Abdul Razak.

The contract was not competitive. The Malaysian ministry of defense paid €1 billion (RM4.5 billion) to Amaris for the three submarines, for which Perimekar received a commission of €114 million (RM510 million). Deputy Defense Minister Zainal Abdidin Zin told the Dewan Rakyat, Malaysia's parliament, that the money was paid for "coordination and support services" although the fee amounted to a whopping 11 percent of the sales price for the submarines.

Altantuya, by her own admission in the last letter she wrote before her murder, had been blackmailing Razak, pressuring him for US$500,000. She did not say how she was blackmailing him, leaving open lots of questions.

Myriad questions have been raised by the year-long trial of Razak and two of Najib's bodyguards for Altantuya's murder. At every turn, those questions could have been answered by calling Najib to the stand. How could Razak, a civilian and Najib's closest friend, get the two bodyguards to kill Altantuya without Najib's knowledge? Najib could answer. How could the record of the victim being in the country disappear completely from Immigration Department records, as was sworn in court? Najib could answer. How could the murderers get their hands on the plastic explosives available only to the military used to blow up her body? Najib could answer. Why did neither the prosecution nor the defense push to investigate a statement made by Altantuya's cousin on the stand that she had seen a picture of Najib, Razak and Altantuya together at a dinner? Najib could answer.

The statutory declaration of P Balasubramaniam, the private detective hired by Razak to keep Altantuya away from him after their relationship had ended, is so closely detailed that it beggars disbelief that it was fabricated. It makes Najib an integral part of the case, something most of Malaysia's top government and judicial officials have been seeking to avoid ever since the trial began.

Balsasubramaniam released his sworn statement in the company of his lawyer, which makes it difficult to believe he was coerced. But immediately afterward he was summoned to a meeting with an assistant superintendant of police in Jalan Brickfields, where he was convinced - outside the presence of his lawyer that his memory was faulty. He then signed a statement that his original one had been compelled, and left the country.

In the original declaration Balasubramaniam said Razak told him he had been introduced to Altantuya "by a VIP...who asked him to look after her financially." Najib, the declaration said, had introduced Razak to Altantuya at a diamond exhibition in Singapore and that Najib had had a sexual relationship with her in the past. Razak was to look after the woman because Najib "did not want her to harass him since he was now the Deputy Prime Minister."

Is that true? Najib could answer.

Interestingly, according to the document, Razak told Balasubramaniam that Altantuya liked anal sex, which is illegal in Malaysia whether performed with men or women. Anwar might like to make that point to the authorities.

Balasubramaniam also detailed cell phone calls between Najib and Razak in the period after Altantuya's murder. Did the police check Razak's phone? Najib could answer.

Raja Petra Kamarudin, the influential internet journalist, is expected to go on trial for criminal defamation for saying that Najib's wife was present at the murder. Rather than bringing in Najib and Rosmah to answer questions, they have gone after Raja Petra, who has threatened his own time bombs during his trial. Asked by Asia Sentinel what those revelations might be, he said he would prefer to save them for testimony under oath.

The one truly sad dupe in all this is the prime minister, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who in all of his sorry reign as prime minister has largely preserved his reputation for integrity despite his fecklessness. Badawi has defended his deputy's reputation in the face of the fact that virtually all of Kuala Lumpur's chattering classes have long since become convinced of the couple's complicity.

This isn't to say Anwar is innocent. The jury, to use a newly valid cliché, is still out. But compare the two. What kind of priorities does this government have in going after a 61-year-old opposition leader with a bad back who presumably would have had a hard time chasing down a mobile 23-year-old aide, when there is the possibility of finding the true perpetrators of an execution murder of a defenseless 28-year-old mother? This is the behavior of a despotic system with an eye only to its own preservation. The Malaysian people deserve better.

He he he baru Suhanna tahu yang Dr Jefri anti Islam?

Ha ha ha ha Dr Jeffrey? unwanted by his mother unclaimed by his father.

  21. Daily Express (27 July 2008)Kota Kinabalu:
PBRS President Tan Sri Joseph Kurup said people should not jump to conclusions over the discovery of bags belonging to the Election Commission but let the authorities investigate.

"We should not straightaway draw a conclusion that this is an unhealthy activity involving a certain party," he said, when asked to comment on the recent finding at the Tebobon riverside in Menggatal.

The discovery of the brown canvas bag bearing the words "Undi Pos" (postal vote) and "Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya Malaysia" (Election Commission), along with 10 blue smaller security ballot bags, was made by a farmer while cutting grass for goat feed by the riverbank 100 metres from SK Tebobon at 9am on Monday.

These were shown to reporters during a media conference by Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Sabah deputy liaison chief Daniel John Jambun at its headquarters in Iramanis, Kolombong, Thursday.

"If I am not mistaken previously there was also such an accusation in Lahad Datu but after it was investigated, there was nothing É so what is important here is we must investigate it first," said Kurup.

On the imminent massive crackdown on illegal immigrants in Sabah, Kurup said the Barisan Nasional (BN) components have actually decided that stricter action be taken to solve the longstanding problem in Sabah.

"Because the problem has existed for so long what the Federal Government is doing right now (the massive crackdown) is most welcome. To ensure its effectiveness we need the full cooperation from all, especially in the rural areas, to report if they come to know of illegals in their respective areas," said the Deputy Rural and Regional Development Minister.

The illegal immigrant problem is a very serious problem and a great threat to the State's security and sovereignty, he said, asking the Philippine Government to cooperate fully with Malaysia in ensuring the smooth implementation of the exercise as well as deportation process.

Kurup also said any legalisation of illegals presently working in Sabah, if this is considered to be implemented, needs to be done very carefully.

"I think this dog is getting out of his mind...trying to save his own skin" "orang kurap" Not a bit of respect for this kurap guy..he is rubbish!
