Establish a Royal Commission of Inquiry

Kota Kinabalu, Feb 14, 2011: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) has called for the Federal Government to establish a Royal Commission of Inquiry on the hot issue on the installment of the new Sultan of Sulu in Likas, Sabah recently.

Its Deputy President, Datuk Eric Majimbun, today said that the Malaysian Sabahans have been consistently voicing out to the Federal Government on the threats of foreigners getting Malaysian citizenship which now has surfaced by its own and the threat has become more evident and worrying.

"Akjan claiming to be the Sultan of Sulu and having lots of followers whom are his countrymen from a neighbour country but also subjects of Malaysia by being given citizenships have shown their true self.
"The Malaysian government should explain to the people why this is happening and the purpose of it.

Eric is deeply appalled that the booming population of the 'new Malaysians' (having bumiputra and Melayu tags) have increased many folds which was only a small number back in the 1970s.

"These so-called countrymen of Malaysia especially in Sabah are mingling among the locals even holding government posts, wakil rakyat and members of political party like Umno, have raised enough suspicions in every true Malaysian and is a real threat to the nation.

"The duty of the government is to establish a Royal Commission of Inquiry with urgency on this matter.

"The Sabah Commissioner of Police had even said the ISA should be invoked for such 'mischief' which meant the matter needed to be urgently attended to by the Federal Government.

  8. the police must immediately carry out an investigation as majority of Sabahans had been worried that Akjan’s action which declare himself on Malaysian soil as sultan of Sulu would have serious security implications to the state and country.

  12. Why always sabahan leaders have to request or ask the Federal intervention?
Look at PKR even need Azizah to revamp PKR Sabah.Forever sabahan have made all weakness to fight among themselves yet pointing finger to other and those leaders from simenanjung!

If you fellow know and decisive enough that culprit is true not a 'Sultan Sulu' or rather just a philippinno 'car-washing'PTI then kick him out.

Sabahan should learn but do not always kowtow to Federal or other for protecting its own sovereignty.Wake up lah!

  13. Kudos to SAPP.It's so unfortunate that being the first to lodged the police report,PKR President says that my report does not reflect the opinion of the party.Sabahans have been crying to resolve the PTI's issue, sadly PKR feels it's not in their "agenda".Looks like the responsibility now rest with SAPP.

Sabah politicians have a problem now, and it is serious. The federal govt considered these PTIs as their electoral fixed deposits to colonize the anak negeri of sabah and that is why they never even bother to listen or sincerely tackle this problem becos it was created by them in the first place...How to get the devils if we the real Sabahans cannot unite...

All depend on how many sabahan like struggle of KIT and LGE from DAP brave enough to speak up for people.Go in and out for ISA and oppose from d bottom of hearts not solely politiking or jump frog here and there!
Also, how to make people understand not like someone YBodoh said:'Sabah is not the poorest State but just with most poorest people"!Sound silly, isn't it?
Sabah L(Logs)+P(Petroleum)+NG+LNG all natural resources and Godwill wealths have been tapped away from past even till now today. Why many mere keep talking and complaining yet thankful to other instead of managing it.

  22. Nothing grand but something for 'politician' but not definitely any 'stateman'to learn from KIT!

For us in Sabah secially leaders whether you are with DAP or other does not matter but search your conscience as one true sabahan in Sabah for people with no regret.
