Sabah DAP came in for some unusual praise from the state government at the on-going State Legislative Assembly sitting here following the Barisan Nasional's victory in the recent Batu Sapi parliamentary by-election.
Sekong Assemblyman Samsudin Yayah commended DAP for indirectly helping the government defeat the Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) candidate, Yong Teck Lee, by drawing away opposition votes from him.
They "hantam SAPP dari belakang (hit SAPP from behind). It made it easy for BN… (there was) no need to go campaigning. Congratulations to DAP," he said to laughter in the House.
The snide remark aimed at DAP's Sri Tanjung Assemblyman, Jimmy Wong, prompted him to stand up and demand that Samsudin retract the words "hantam SAPP dari belakang" calling them "sensitive".
However, Samsudin refused, explaining that what he meant was that the DAP had stabbed SAPP in the back during the by-election won by BN's Linda Tsen.
DAP are agents of BN right from the beginning
ReplyDeleteIf the people still cannot see the true colors of DAP Sabah?
ReplyDeletePeople like Jimmy was made Yb because of the rakyat of Sabah. But the only problem the leaders of Sabah can't survive without the help of leaders from semananjung. The question why we as Sabahan belitteling ourselves by subservient to the leaders from semananjung?.Why can't we fight our dignities and rights through local parties.Do we have one....yes SAPP.Let united then to fight the future of our generations.
ReplyDeleteSelf interests, monetary gains are factors for helping the Bn win Batu Sapi by DAp
ReplyDeleteThere is a difference between political idealists and political jokers. The idealist always want to do what they believe is good for the people and politically right. The joker just want to be YBs and don't care much about right or wrong. Which is why inside the dewan he hamtam but outside they are like good friends. At one hand jokers said they want to cooperate with SAPP but they didn't hesitate to stab at SAPP at the 1st opportunity. The jokers simply don't have a stand and can not be trusted. They behaviour is so obvious and I need not say more.
ReplyDeleteThe problem with many Sabahan is their 'too simple' and 'too easy' mentality. It is very easy to accuse SAPP that 'why u guys can't cooperate and cut out a deal with PR' without a deep though about the sincerity of PR leaders and also Sabah's interest in general. May be that explains why Sabahan consistently voted wrong people which in turn leaded her to the current sorry state.
ReplyDeletethank to DAP..
ReplyDeleteBagaimana DAP menikam SAPP dari belakang?
ReplyDeletenot sure whether this is true or not...
ReplyDeletejust let it be..better to focus on other issue.
ReplyDeleteSure or not ? What can DAP do ?
ReplyDeleteJust focus on your own agenda and get on ...
why remove my post? i can always posted it back...

"May be that explains why Sabahan consistently voted wrong people which in turn leaded her to the current sorry state."
keep on blaming the Sabahan is not a good way to promote your party...and maybe you didnt realize that your are actually insulting your own intelligence & sabahan as a whole....
remember that we, the Sabahan, has change the government for 3 times in 1985, 1990 & 1994?
you might want to pull back the "consistence" word from your statement...
I believe that sapp's struggle is more consistent than the other parties and that is why the bn and pr are trying in their joint effort to destroy sapp
ReplyDeleteaccept the defeat and realize that you are dealing with three-cornered fight in the recent Batu Sapi by-election.
ReplyDeleteWell, win win solution for both sides.
ReplyDeleteKemenangan adalah di pihak yang benar saja.
ReplyDeleteDon't be complacent with the current winning.
ReplyDeleteIt is very SAD to say that PR and BN are just the same. They only see themself aNd not others. do u remember before the batu sapi by election, before the nomination? PR sent The Treasurer General Mr.Willian Leong to Sabah to discuss with SAPP and on the other hand, Anwar Ibr in a press conference at parliment KL asking SAPP to pull out from batu sapi by election. what the hell is this? Anwar has to make it clear to the people of sabah. And in the election period, PKR, DAP leaders from KL only attack SAPP (all the newspapers records will prove). Can LIM GUAN ENG, LIM KET SIONG, ChUA JUI MIN, Dr. HIEW KIN CHEW and ANWAR IBRAHIM and other to explain to sabahan, YOU ARE fighting with BN OR SAPP? DO BULLSHIT IN YOUR OWN HOME AND NOT IN SABAH, OK?
ReplyDeletePolitical struggle is just rhetoric if we kept repeating the same old songs.
