1Malaysia Crap

"I am Malay first, but being Malay doesn't mean I am not Malaysian," said Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

He was responding to DAP leader Lim Kit Siang's challenge earlier today for him to state whether he is a Malay or a Malaysian first.

"He doesn't understand (what) the meaning of the concept of 1Malaysia is all about," Muhyiddin told a press conference in the Parliament lobby this afternoon.

So can Muhyiddin explain what is actually 1Malaysia or is it just crap!

  5. 1Malaysia is just another slogan like 2020 being a developed nation, nothing but hot air!

As long religion and race is so important that we cannot eliminate this things into the "Private" file and put the sex preference into it as well, we will NOT be a developed nation in the next 50 years since UMNO BN will make sure of it!

Divide and rule would be the true slogan for UMNO BN!

  9. MALAYSIAN ASTRONAUTS

This is a humourous but true reflection of Malaysians.

    American Spaceman is called Astronaut

    Russian Spaceman is called Cosmonaut

    Chinese Spaceman is called Taikonaut

    Indian Spaceman is called Coconaut

    Malaysian Spaceman??? - Can-or-naut

Dr. M was thinking about sending somebody into space. Three potential can-or-nauts were called for an interview.

An Indian, a Malay and a Chinese.

Dr. M interviews the Indian first: "So, Muthu, this is a dangerous mission.. How much do you think you should be paid?"

    Muthu replied: "One million ringgit."

"Why so much?" asks Dr. M.

"Very dangerous mission, Datuk. Maybe no come back!" replied Muthu.

    "That's understandable," says Dr. M.
"Thank you.. Please ask the Malay guy to come here,"

So the Malay walks up, and is asked the same question.

"Alamak!...2 million, Datuk," replied the Malay candidate.

"Two million? That's twice as much!

Even the aneh before you asked for only one million."

    "You see, Datuk," explains Mat,
    "I have 4 wives and 15 children.
With 20 of us, it is a big family to support when I am gone...!"

    "I see," says Dr. M.
"Okay, can you ask that Chinese guy to come in then?"

    The Chinese guy comes in
and Dr. M asks, "Ah Chong, given this is a very risky mission, how much do you want?"

Ah Chong thinks for a while, and says, "3 million."

Mahathir appears shocked. "What! 3 million? Why so much?"

Ah Chong beckons Dr. M to come closer.
He quietly whispers into his ear,
"Datuk, one million you keep, one million
I keep, and then one more million to send that aneh into space lah!"

  10. Dear Supporter,
Malaysia was hit by the global recession and 2009 was a difficult year for many of us. More jobs were lost and more people were left unemployed than at any time in our nation's history.
There are some indications that the economic situation is improving in 2010 but I released a statement today urging people not to be misled by a few statistics. To say that the “the worst is over” is not only premature but irresponsible. READ MY STATEMENT HERE For 10 years the government has spent more money than it has made.

In fact increasing government expenditure has been the defining element of Malaysia's economic policy during this period. The natural outcome of its approach is to register some small amount of growth. But our continued reliance on an outdated strategy is taking us down the road of economic serfdom. And the government's failure to adopt creative economic policies to make us competitive in a global economy has left Malaysia lagging behind our neighbors in the region. It is also true that corruption remains rampant and massive government projects are often unnecessary, cost too much, and benefit only a few people. We cannot afford to keep losing billions every year. The private sector has not benefited from the increase in spending. Small and medium sized businesses were more vibrant and active 20 years ago than they are today. This means that the economic policies of the BN are still not creating enough jobs and opportunities for the vast majority of Malaysians.

Pakatan Rakyat believes that the structural problems with the economy must be addressed urgently so that Malaysia can regain its competitive edge in the region. We promise tosafeguard our future and our children's future by being a government that is accountable to the people, transparent in its dealings and committed to a reform agenda that restores confidence in the judiciary, strengthens institutions of civil society and shows zero tolerance for corruption and cronyism. Please support Pakatan Rakyat and our pursuit of a brighter future for Malaysians. Send this email to
five of your friends and ask them to join our movement. Thank you, Anwar Ibrahim

  16. Sabah’s population was about 3.248 million in 2009. According to Dr. Chong Eng Leong in his book ‘Lest We Forget’, the Sabah’s population can be explained as follows:
    Paperless or fake/expired papers = 750,000
    IMM13 holders = 64,000
    Project IC/M holders + their children = 600,000
PR status granted to “refugees” in 2006 = (17,000)
Foreigners with work permit = (300,000)
    Bona Fide Malaysians = 1,500,000
    Total = 3,230,000

  17. If anyone choose to be a Malay first, we're not Malaysia. We have to think outside the box. Malaysia is not Malaysia if one race thinks of his own race first.

  18. I am 'pendatang' first

    I confess.

Put away the electrodes and the peacock feathers. I am allergic to torture. I will readily confess.

Yes, I am pendatang (a Comer) first.

I am pendatang first, homo sapiens second, agnostic third, Chinese fourth, Teochew fifth, spoiler of women sixth, and so on. Don't worry, being Malaysian is definitely somewhere down the list.

Being pendatang first does not mean I am less of a Malaysian.

How can I say I'm Malaysian first and pendatang second? If I do that, all the pendatang will shun me and say it's not proper. Yes, I know they will. How do I know that?

Oh, I rely on very high authority. I learn it from the wisdom of our DPM, who is reported to have said (and his sombre voice still rings in my ears): “How can I say I'm Malaysian first and Malay second? All the Malays will shun me and say it's not proper” (as quoted in The Sun, April 1, 2010; no April Fool's joke).
