Malaysia Agreement enforceable in court of law

Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) pledged to bring the Federal Government and the British Government to the Court for dishonouring the Malaysia Agreement once getting the mandate from the people.

President Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee said that among others, the clear breach of agreement was on the Borneonisation of the federal public service in Sabah in pursuant to the Malaysia Agreement that was signed in London on 9 July, 1963.

He said SAPP's legal team had studied the matter for quite a long time and after researching the speeches of leaders from all parties and relevant documents, especially the agreement's contents itself they opined that the Malaysia Agreement was enforceable in the court of law.

"The promise of Borneonisation of the public service is very well documented in the many memoranda submitted by the leaders of North Borneo and Sarawak, in the Memorandum of the Malaysia Solidarity Consultative Committee, the Cobbold Report, the Inter-Governmental Report.

  3. JUSTICE DELAYED...JUSTICE DENIED.Thou has cast the first stone, and walk the talk you must or forever be banish. But why wait until you have a "mandate"?Politics aside, this is a moral obligation to the people of the state.

Ghandi would have put on his slippers, marched and rallied with his people for justice for his people. But there again Yong Teck Lee is not Ghandi...YTL is a politician, and these are the words of a politician.Show me some sincerity and I may even support.

  5. I think the people of Sabah matured enough.Ghandi was a history may not be relevent now. What happened when the people did demonstrate demanding to the abolishment of ISA.SAPP knows that at the moment they don't have the LOCAL STANDAI.THOSE SABAHAN LOVE SABAH this is the opportunity to restore your rights that were PROMISED but has been IGNORED for 47 yrs. THIS SHOULD BE THE STRUGGLE OF ALL SABAHANS AND HAS BEEN LONG OVER DUE.Stop the COLONIZATION;can we see what has happened to jeffery titingan and co. Who decided;who was responsible on the expansion of UMNO into SABAH in 1994 THROUGH DEFECTION;do we still trust parties and leaders from semananjung with promises and sweat talks.NO MORE RETHORIC AND TALK COCK PLEASE.I take my chance and VOTE LOCAL PARTY....SAPP.

  6. Ronnie and Y NAB PLEASE UNDERSTAND that at present SAPP is in the opposition THERE IS NO LOCAL STANDAI to do so and few factors as pointed out by Anonymous I think should be eye opener to the SABAHAN. Personally I think most leaders of Sabah are aware but because of greed they willing to sell theirs mothers for powers and projects.

  8. Whatever Man in the arena has to search your own heart as leader whether SAPP,PBS,PKR,LDP,DAP specially local leaders.
Ask:why you or soldiers go to war...for himself, his home? And why lawyer take case to represent his client...for justice, truth or just a profession?
Ghandi is no doubt one good leader by example but sabahan leaders today must not take comfort or self professed ego in politics as grant to sacrifice your people with hope on you and waste no more time!
Why must it be from Kedah,Johore, and always UMNO or federal that share in Malaysia our nation in decision?
    Enlighten and be enlightened!

  9. To all anonymous's,
    Read this blog:
    http://knightadventure.blogspot.com/2009/07/kelupaan-1.html

This article was written last year and there are a lot of articles written in the internet before. The Good News is Sabahans and Sarawakians are aware that Malaya is ignoring these facts. The Bad News is No One really fights for this cause..practically NO ONE..all talk only... we are being ignored all the while. Do you all think we want to wait another 2 or three years for this issue to prolong...if you said "No Local Standai"..as long as we have the support of all the anxious and impatient Sabahans..we can do it...let's build up the momentum in this blog..tell everybody..no one will fight for Sabah if not Sabahans, this is the OBLIGATIONS of sabahans...and if you are not SINCERE fighting for this cause then you have hidden agenda...

  10. Yessss! Let all the Sabahans be united under the name of SAPP which is the only local opposition party represented by all the pure Sabahans and owned by Sabahans.

Sabahans had been given too much respect to the Malaya people and now is our time to rise up and defence our rights.

Ronnie, you are not even a Sabahan and please don't talk cock here. A wolf in sheep skin.

  13. It really struck my memory where the former PM Tun sow from his reign for Sabah 14 seeds in Sabah land. Some bad seed hit on the hard ground and never grow well. Other as seen die off quietly yet some seeds still try to wrestle and making effort to climb higher than other towards high sky!
Untimately, only problem is the land become unfutile anymore and all worms underneath are dying.
Who are more smarter than him and those from federal?
Even now good friend ,colleague and comrade may take on each other soon!

Now, why was the first group of Immigration Department and National Registration Department officers detained under ISA some years ago? According to what they personally told me when I met them three or four years ago -- after they were released from detention -- they were not running a rogue operation. It was a ‘legitimate’ exercise. The only thing is the ‘operations centre’ was not in the National Registration Department office but in an ‘underground’ office in Kampong Pandan in Kuala Lumpur.

If this was not a rogue operation, and if it was legal, why the need to operate outside a government office and instead operate from an underground office in Kampong Pandan? The reason, according to these officers, was so that no one would know about it.

The target was to ‘import’ Filipino Muslims into Sabah and issue them with Malaysian identity cards. Some say as many as 600,000 were brought in. Others say it was one million. And some estimates put it at 1.5 million.

Nevertheless, whether it was 600,000 or 1 million or 1.5 million, the numbers are very large indeed.

Now, what I want to talk about is not the numbers. What I want to talk about is that if these officers from the Immigration Department and National Registration Department were actually running a rogue operation and if they had committed a crime (and since they were detained under the ISA then surely it is because there is evidence they have committed a crime or else how can the government detain them?) why not just charge them in court?

The reason they can’t be charged in court is because the government does not want anything being revealed during a trial. Under ISA detention there is no trial so nothing comes out. In a trial everything will be revealed.

The government needs to avoid a trial because in a trial it would be revealed that these officers were merely doing what they had been ordered to do -- that is, issue identity cards to immigrants. So they need to instead be detained under ISA to hide the truth.

A lot has been written and said about this issue, which is now infamously known as ‘PROJEK M’. It was a project to dilute the Christian population of Sabah by flooding Sabah with Muslim immigrants who would be issued with Malaysian identity cards.

And once they are the owners of Malaysian identity cards they can vote in the elections. And once there are more Muslim voters than Christian voters, the PBS ‘Christian’ government can be brought down. And this did happen, as we all now know.

The sad thing is PBS went and joined Barisan Nasional after they were kicked out of the state. These guys must have their brains up their arseholes. Did I not say that all politicians are slime-balls and scumbags?

The ISA is not actually used to prevent crime, as what the government says. It is used to hide secrets of government wrongdoing. And in the matter of the government issuing identity cards to Muslim immigrants so that the non-Muslim voter population can be diluted, this is definitely something that the government would like to hide.

I think I will go join the anti-ISA demonstration in London on Saturday, 30 October 2010. The ISA is not only being abused. It is being used to reduce the non-Muslim population so that Umno can practically rule forever.

And now the influx of immigrants into Sabah has created a huge social problem. The crime rate and drug problem are extremely high in Sabah. So are the homeless and abandoned children on the streets. Sabah, which was once a paradise, has been turned into a living hell.

And all because Umno wants to make sure that there are more Muslim voters than non-Muslim voters.

What the fuck is the ‘Christian’ PBS doing in Barisan Nasional? Their leaders should all be lined up against the wall and shot. And the belacan-brain Malay officers who collaborate with Umno in issuing these identity cards end up under detention without trial instead of getting awards and titles.

    Sama-sama bodoh macam orang PBS.
