SAPP's 8 points declaration

KOTA KINABALU, August 7, 2008: SAPP Deputy Information Chief, Chong Pit Fah, reminded LDP President Datuk VK Liew of his obligation towards the people of Sabah, instead of singing to the tune of the Federal leadership. He (VK Liew) said the BN has more important issues to attend to than attending to the needs of Sabah people. SAPP's 8 Points Declaration

  1. SAPP please take note. BN=UMNO not only dont care about the welfare of Sabahans, BN=UMNO also dont care about the sufferings of all Malaysians who are not listed as their Cronies. This can be shown by the 50+% votes for Pakatan Rakyat in the March Election. So to our brothers & sisters in Sabah and Sarawak, if you want a better life under the Malaysian Sun JUST CHANGE. Follow what your Brothers & Sisters have done in Penang, Selangor, Kedah, Perak, FT and Kelantan.... Vote for Pakatan Rakyat in the next General Election at State as well as Federal Level.

For Those BN MPs waiting to leave BN, We Malaysian salute you for taking the right action as this can only bring back confidence of Foreigh Investors which is the most important ingredient for the success of any sovereign nation.

  2. I won't be surprised VK Liew being a faithful dog of the KL.

He 'won' the Sandakan MP seat by 100 odd votes becoz of phantom fly-by-night postal votes...400++votes. A mysterious ballot box appeared in the middle of the night. Highly questionable and that's why it was challenged by DAP Shanty Chong of SPR cheating.

Liew could have been involved becoz of his suspect character. A political fluke blessed by Chong Kah Kiat.

He never ceased to 'angkat kaki' or lick the feet of his KL masters becoz they gave him a deputy minister's post which he does not deserved. YB yang patut kalah!

  3. SAPP has started the bandwagon but unfortunately the others who were supposed to back SAPP just chickened out.

Upko has just realizing the important issues SAPP is trying to get KL's attention and action, but stop short.

Few Sabah Umno MPs just quiet down. They were so vocal in the beginning e.g. Ghapur, Anifah, but just may be chicken out also.

How can SAPP go all the way when these supposedly on the same boat kept their distance.

  4. This is where we equate perception and the gospel truth. The people were manipulated and hoodwink to perceive that UMNO/BN will finally listen to the people of Sabah. The gospel truth is,UMNO/BN truly has more important things to do than to listen to the people of Sabah. They are too busy tripling their wealth,as they will not be around very soon.

So you see Chong Pit Fah,V.K.Liew was not lying at all.

On another note,Agenda Daily will be hosting yet another debate, between Lim Guan Eng and Koh Tzu Khoon on the 20th.August.2008. This would certainly be an interesting debate as well.

I would like to suggest that Pakatan Rakyst and SAPP invite Agenda Daily to host a similarly structure debate in Sabah on just one[1]key issue,"SABAH DESERVED A 20% OIL ROYALTY".

The Chief Minister Of Sabah has been parroting all these while, that he has the mandate of the people, but Sabah is administered by remote control from KL.

If UMNO/BN Sabah[with the exception of SAPP of course]thinks there are administering the state well, which there are not,I'm sure Sabahans will be very interested to know as to why the State Government is so silent in pursuing a cause that will uplift the well being of all Sabahans.

So Mr.Musa Aman,do you have the testicles to take up this challenge?

    Cheers.

  5. http://politics101malaysia.blogsome.com/2008/08/07/anwar-pleads-not-guilty-given-bail/
    ------------------
"PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim pleaded not guilty to the charge of having carnal intercourse against the order of nature at the Sessions Court in Jalan Duta court complex this morning.

"Judge Komathy agreed to release Anwar on RM20,000 personal bond without surety.

"He also said that Anwar need not surrender his passport as the opposition leader was not likely to abscond.

"He (Anwar) told Tenaganita director and PKR leader Irene Fernandez that this court case would be the “final round”."
    ======================

This will indeed be the final round. It is crystal clear to all fairminded and intelligent people that it is impossible for Anwar to have committed the sodomy. It is psychologically impossible. It is also logically impossible. And the political motivation and machination is written all over this shabby and inept frame-up. Saiful had been proven to have met with the police the night before the alleged sodomy obviously to hatch the frame-up. The braven attempt to get Anwar’s DNA is laughable. The excuse that Anwar’s old blood sample is too old to yield a good DNA test result is clearly technically false. If Anwar’s old blood sample is too old, it is only too old to be planted on Saiful’s underwear but certainly not too old to give an exact DNA test result. The truth is the whole thing is just a frame-up and everybody, including the BN cabinet, in Malaysia and all around the world knows it.

It is also clear that UMNO has lost the first bout which is to put Anwar in jail both to demoralize the PR opposition and those who are thinking of flipping and joining PR and to prevent him from winning his seat in the parliament when the judge granted bail.

That Anwar is still out of jail and free to lead the PR is a heavy blow to the UMNO scam which augurs well for Anwar and the entire PR opposition. This also reflects the judge’s belief that it is all a trump up miscarriage of justice anyway. Hopefully, this means that the judge will be strict in allowing in false evidence as well as allowing in critically important evidence such as the medical report of Dr. Osman that there was no evidence of sodomy.

It is now all but certain that Anwar will win his parliament seat with a landslide. PR will get the 30 or more defectors to gain the majority. And a new era of equality and justice will begin with a new government. Yes, this will be the “final round” for Anwar as well as for the UMNO reign of terror which will go down for the final count.

  6. Pls leave VK Liew alone! He still need time to "kumpul" $$$ for his political survival. If he back SAPP now then LDP can't survive...

    So his action are acceptable!

  11. Upko, SAPP to ensure Sabahans' voices heard: Dompok
Penampang: Barisan Nasional (BN) component Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) has stood firm on the rights of Sabahans despite suggesting a motion of no-confidence against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

"SAPP as one of the (Barisan) component parties in Sabah has delivered its viewÉwe also hold similar views (on the problems raised by SAPP)," said Upko President Tan Sri Bernard Dompok, Friday.

He said Sabah would continue to be defended in terms of its rights as long as it continues to have voices such as from SAPP and Upko.

Dompok said it is not necessary to take action against SAPP because no action had been taken against certain key leaders in Umno who had similarly and openly asked the Prime Minister to step down.

Upko, he said, is in favour of cooperating to resolve the problems. "A lot still needs to be done particularly on government policies that have been disputed by the people."

The fate of SAPP has been deferred to another date following the BN Supreme Council decision to study in detail the points raised by the party.

BN Deputy Chairman Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who chaired the meeting of the BN management committee on Wednesday, said a decision would only be made after the study had been completed and also whether it was appropriate to respond to the SAPP.

Last month, the BN issued a show-cause letter to SAPP demanding an explanation on its stand to support a motion of no-confidence against Abdullah.

In its reply dated July 30, the SAPP had also urged the BN leadership to examine the reasons why the party would support such a motion.

Among the requests made in the party's eight-point declaration and endorsed by its Supreme Council was for Sabah to have political autonomy, an increase to 20 per cent in the state's share of oil royalty and Labuan to be brought under the state jurisdiction and governed as a special region.

................that is a brave statement and a good start ...bravo to you Dompok too!

  13. Sabah: Rights groups talking nonsense
    Arianna | Aug 8, 08 3:30pm
I refer to the Malaysiakini report Crackdown on illegals slammed.

I would like to say to these rights groups, ‘Come and see the situation in Sabah first otherwise, shut up!’ That's all I have to say to these so-called rights groups.

Apparently you lot know nothing about the situation in Sabah. Is it 'noble' of you to take up the illegal immigrants’ plight and portray them as 'helpless and victimised people'. Really?

I do have compassion for foreigners, illegal or otherwise, but I do not condone their acts of coming into Sabah - by the millions for your information - through the back door.

Ask any Sabahan who has lived with these illegals all our lives. Remember, this is almost a 40-year-old problem. Today, their population compared to locals is 3 to 1 in their favour.

We've seen them slowly taking over our towns. Adults and children alike sell contraband not to mention the illegal hawking that cause headaches for the local authorities, police, local population and the health department.

Hey, they even make Sabah their 'war zone' by settling decades-old feuds that more often than not end up with killings. Ask the police if you doubt.

We've seen them introducing and smuggling in illegal drugs like 'syabu', bringing in firearms, a host of diseases all of which have resulted in a dramatic increase in our crime rate. Why do you think many of our homes are like ‘prisons’ installed with grills and extra padlocks?

Don't take my word for all this. I am sure the respective authorities would be more than happy to supply you with real statistics.

Why don't you rights groups visit our hospitals especially those in the east coast of Sabah? And our schools too. See for yourself how these illegals enjoy the facilities and rights that are only reserved for Malaysians.

You may also ask the health, education and defence ministries how much they've spent to provide such 'privileges' to these illegals. They run into the hundreds of millions of ringgit and that's Malaysian taxpayers’ money, if you didn't already know.

By the way, we have hundreds of so-called citizen-less children of these illegal immigrants roaming our streets either begging or harassing people to buy their plastic bags of contraband and even indulging in street gambling.

Since your rights groups are 'compassionate' towards these illegals, come on over and adopt these kids or build a home for them. Don't just talk. Walk the talk.

Did I mention that these illegals are mercenaries too? Hey, you can buy them for RM30 to RM50 per person to stage riots for you like they did in 1986. Or be used as 'phantom voters' in general elections.

So what do you great rights groups suggest we do? Give them permanent resident status like what a Sabah Umno leader suggested recently? And compromise the country's laws?

And when word of this gets around, wouldn't you think millions more would come to Sabah and once again out of compassion, we should grant them PR status?

Compassion has its limits. We Sabahans have reached our maximum limit. We have been more charitable than you rights groups can even imagine.

And look, we have been taken for granted. The illegals have overstayed their welcome. If these people want to work in Sabah, go back home and come back through the proper channels.

Otherwise, let our laws deal with them accordingly

  14. PBS Reps (Stooges) and running dogs Will Be Sent To Help BN Candidate For Permatang Pauh

KOTA KINABALU, Aug 9 (Bernama) -- Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) will send representatives to help the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Permatang Pauh by-election.

"Like other BN component parties, PBS will also be sending representatives to help in the by-election," PBS president Datuk Joseph Pairin Kitingan told reporters after opening the International Day of the World's Indigenous People here, Saturday.

The Deputy Chief Minister however did not say how many representatives PBS would be sending to Permatang Pauh.

Pairin said he would also be at Permatang Pauh but not on nomination day as he had other work commitments.

Asked about BN's chances at the by-election, he said: "Let us wait and see what happens after ten days of campaigning."

    Dear Curious,

I do not know the victim nor her cousin neither do i know Edward Khoo's girlfriend.

I just happened to come across the victim's plight in this blog under a different topic recently and i symphatise with what happened to the victim (if it is true). That's why i suggested her/her cousin to bring the matter to the attention of SAPP leaders, not just for her own justice but more importantly to caution others of such a dubious and hazardous cosmetic surgery.

    Regards.
