'BN's self-destruct button now on'

How much longer can the ruling government be oblivious towards the current trend? To me, it seems that they were born oblivious.

Why are the ACA, the police and the government suddenly 'acting' super efficient and arresting opposition members and creating this false sense of integrity?

Have they forgotten that similar tactics used in GE12 failed them miserably?

By doing what they are doing, they are earning hatred from the public. People vote for the opposition not for because they like or have faith in the opposition, but because they simply hate the ruling government and want to show their discontent.

How difficult is it for the 'geniuses' to figure this out? Going by this case, I understand why we are where we are now. (Quoted from Paran Chinniah: Voxpop)

  3. Now look at that! First Badawi says: Fuel prize announcemant will be done on 1. September and now, today 22. August we have an annoncement on that. Who believes that this has NOTHING to do with the PP by-election?

Who can and will believe that? I dont and I believe most of the Malaysians dont either. And on top of that, I am very clear on one thing: If DSAI will not take over the government in September, fuel prizes may very likely go up again because oil prizes on the worldmarkets have gone up already.

So pls. vote for the right person to make a change POSSIBLE for Malaysia. It is badly needed.

ACA- why now and not all the time? Good question I know!

  6. Which ever way, all Malaysian Brothers, whatever they are going to say now, even if they reduce the price of petrol to $1.50, abolish income tax, free education, open up UiTM and all that is hogging the lime light, I have this to tell you as I am not involved in this election nor was I in the past few …… ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

Mr Khairy, you may sound very convincing and look like an angel with all your talks … having worked and known politicians from both sides, including PAS, DAP, I am amused and think you are really thick skin. Yes you can resign from UMNO Youth, who would not do it after all this maybe UMNO’s death. If UMNO is not buried this time, I am very sure they will be buried and all members buried alive in a landslide the next GE.

But Mr Khairy, does it matter to you, I have since labeled you as a VIP Begger and knowing in Sarawak, there is money to be made, you are eyeing the goodies here.

Let me know when you come, I am sure, I will pelt rotten eggs at you as your company cause me to lose and cheated me of RM60.00 for collecting service charge that was not delivered!!!

I wait for you and please be a gentlement and announce your visit to Kuching.

At the end of the day, I tell you and all Malaysians this:

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE AND MAYBE ALL TO GAIN BY THROWING OUT BARISAN NASIONAL STARTING WITH PERMATANG PAUH.

WE HAVE TRUSTED BN FOR 50 YEARS AND FOR MY CASE, EVER SINCE I STARTED WORK 30 YEARS AGO.

BUT, WE DO NOT SEEM TO MOVE FORWARD AND THIS MEANS WE HAVE GAMBLED AWAY THE BETTER PART OF OUR LIVE WITH BN. AS A MATTER OF FACT, IN THE PAST 10 YEARS, WE SEEM TO BE MOVING BACKWARDS AND WITH RECENT INFLATION, THIS IN ITSELF IS ALREADY THE INDICATOR THAT WE ARE NOT PROGRESSING WITH SHRINKING DOLLAR IN OUR POCKET AND QUALITY OF LIVE BEING AFFECTED AS WELL.

So fellow Malaysians, do not believe them any more, trust what I am telling you now, I rather gamble with a convict who have serve his time and realise and now know what is good than this bunch of Politicians in our government who are spoon fed or from poor backgrounds out to be a millionaire overnight at our expense.

VOTE DATUK SERI ANWAR NOW IS MY CALL AND THROW OUT BN. IF YOU ARE FROM PENANG, YOU WILL ALSO KNOW WHERE THE BN CANDICATE GOT HIS MONEY FROM. IF HE CAN TALK ABOUT HIS PHD FROM A BOGUS UNIVERSITY, AND RETRACT IT, THIS ALREADY SPEAKS VOLUMNE OF HIS INTERGRITY.

Ask any human resource lecturer or anyone involved in Human Resource Counselling or a person incharge of hiring and interviewing prospective employee, they are very sure an important thing they are always on the look out would be “Past Behaviour”. This is very important as “Old Habits die hard, especially in telling white lies”

So with the recent lie dished out by Pek Mo in this by election, I am very sure he will lie and forever continue to lie (afterall, he have done it thinking we are all stupid and will do it again thinking we will not know).

I wish I can change my voting right to Permatang Pauh and give my one vote to Perkatan Rakyat and get my friends in Penang to do so, afterall, we have seen so many manipulations and billions of dollars flow in to cronies account in the past!!!

Once again, go for a gamble, vote Pakatan Rakyat and ask your family members, friends to do it …. even educated government servants in Sarawak are asking after the last price increase … “Do you still want or dare vote for Barisan”???

And with recent events affecting us … I am asking by friends and fellow Malaysian Brothers do you still want to vote for Barisan Nasional and suffer again.

GO FOR IT, DO IT FOR YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR FUTURE GENERATIONS PUT DATUK SERI ANWAR IN PARLIAMENT AND SEE WHAT HE DO FOR 5 YEARS, AFTERWALL WE HAVE SEEN AND SUFFERED FOR 50 YEARS. HOW MANY MALAYS HAVE LIVE ABOVE POVERTY LEVEL IN THIS 50 YEARS? 15% IS MY GUESS???

  8. The infamous pathetic swearing by the Koran by Saiful and Najib is further testimony of UMNO/BN's shallow mindset. We await Musang's awearing on the reported involvement of the RM16M fiasco.Politics in Malaysia has now taken a twist for the worse with total disregard and disrespect on the sovereignty of a country once acclaimed as the rising country in this region.

UMNO/BN manifested racial sentiments that even our Muslim brothers are totally in disagreement. The good news is Malaysians have woken up.Imagine the entire UMNO/BN machinery, which includes Cabinet Minister showering all the might against ONE MAN,which comes by the the name of Anwar Ibrahim.

UMNO/BN is a lost cause, political lies, manipulation and hoodwinking is a fore gone conclusion.BN's self destruct button was already ignited and destroyed in March 2008.

I call upon all voters in Permatang Pauh to vote for Anwar and restore the country back.Malaysians hopes of one country one dream, restored national integration, improved economy, eradication of corruption, equality, fairness, good governance and justice will be put right with DSAI at the helm.

    Cheers...

In the 7.45pm incident, the 31-year-old corporal was believed to be driving back to the Tabuan Jaya police complex when his car knocked into a Kelisa belonging to the victim, Lim Hui Hoon, in Bulatan Batu 3 here.

The suspect is said to have threatened to shoot the victim, who works as a customer service officer in a private firm here, and also assaulted the woman in the head with his Browning pistol.

When the victim tried to run away, the suspect was said to have chased and grabbed hold of her before pointing the gun at her and threatening to kill her.

He then left the victim who was sent to hospital by passers-by.

  12. Thagarajoo, Nallakaruppan’s one-time driver, swears he brought Mr. Ji to Najib’s house every month to perform Hindu prayers and rituals. And it appears it is still going on until today. Does that, therefore, render Najib’s oath, performed the so-called 'proper' Islamic way, null and void?

  13. Thagarajoo also confirmed that Shafee Abdullah coached him on what to say and that his coached 'statement' was tape-recorded.

Datuk K.S. Nallakaruppan and Dato’ Muhammad Shafee Abdullah were behind the conspiracy to frame Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim on sodomy charges back in 1998. This was confirmed by Nalla’s driver, Thagarajoo a/l Thangavelu, in a Statutory Declaration signed on 21 August 2008.

This latest revelation puts to rest, once and for all, the speculation as to the real dalang behind the 1998 conspiracy. It appears like these same players are also involved in the latest sodomy allegation, dubbed as ‘Sodomy 2’, as revealed by Malaysia Today in an earlier report.

Rajoo also confirmed that Shafee coached him on what to say and that his coached ‘statement’ was tape-recorded. Rajoo was also summoned to Bukit Aman by the current IGP, Tan Sri Musa Hassan, who was then in charge of the case, and subsequently was brought to meet Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad so that he can repeat what he had been instructed to tell the Prime Minister.

The text and scanned versions of the Statutory Declaration can be read below. In the meantime, let us ‘flashback’ to what happened during Anwar’s trial in 1998-1999.

To Rakyat Malaysia, there’s everything to gain but nothing to lose!

Ok, let me put it bluntly this way, especially to Permatang Pauh residents… vote for PKR at the Permatang Pauh by-election as we have everything to gain but nothing to lose. So if you ask me, why?

Enough is enough, there’s simply too many corruptions cases going on at the moment as well as our Barisan Nasional leaders have lost their credibility.

Personally, i have lost my trust towards our PM for his famous flip-flop actions. As for our DPM, i’m finding it hard to trust him anymore with so many controversies linking to him, submarine purchase corruption, Altantuya’s murder as well as the so called ‘Port Dickson’ issue raised by Anwar recently.

Come on, if you’re really clean, there won’t be so many allegations linking to you in the first place.

Furthermore, with the increased in fuel price recently causing our country’s inflation at an all time high, i don’t think Malaysia’s economy is in a good shape at the moment. But i could be wrong as i’m not an economic expert, so i won’t comment much on this.

So are we going to get into deeper shit if we vote for Anwar?

Logically speaking, i am 101% confident that we won’t and why? Because if Anwar screw us up in these coming 5 years, we’ll just vote him out, exactly the same way that we voted Barisan Nasional out of 5 states during the recent 8th General Election.

That’s what we call People’s Power! If only the Rock can smell what we Malaysians are cookin’ right now, heh! With so many promises made by Anwar, i dare to take my chances and give him my benefit of doubt.

Alright, you promise us so much, then we’ll give you a chance. Bring up our university standards, improve our economy, bring down the petrol price, eliminate or substantially reduce corruption practices and help to improve the life of each and everyone of us in Malaysia, whether it’s Malay, Chinese or Indian. Afterall, we have given BN 50 years so what’s wrong if we give Pakatan Rakyat 5 or even 10 years? Like i said, we have totally nothing to lose but everything to gain!

But let me get this point straight, i am not a staunch supporter of Anwar but rather, i’m a Pakatan Rakyat supporter. I agree with what they are fighting for at this moment and i totally despise BN’s leadership now.

Anwar is only as good as his promises and if he fails to keep his promise, i’m sure we’ll give him a taste of people’s power as well come the next GE.

So guys, why not all of us unite and create history by making a new Malaysia? It’s now or never and let me repeat this again and again, we have everything to gain but NOTHING TO LOSE ! Whooo ! Merdeka !!!

  16. What is this? A warning that we do not get further rebates if BN is not wnning? It looks for me like a small hint for what is in stock for us!

The Government might reconsider issuing rebates if the people did not appreciate its initiatives to help reduce their financial burden, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

  19. Petrol price cut a sign of desperation

Having identified one of the main sources of public disenchantment, the BN-led government, with one eye firmly on the Permatang Pauh by-election campaign, has cut the price of petrol from RM2.70 to RM2.55 - a reduction of 5.6 per cent.

This price change is clearly politically motivated. When they raised the petrol price in Malaysia by 41 per cent on 5 June, the price of Nymex Light Sweet Crude was around US$125 per barrel (on 4-5 June).

The closing price yesterday was US$121 - not much different from then - and now they announce a cut of 5.6 per cent? Tell me it has nothing to do with Permatang Pauh. Why didn’t they wait until 1 Sept, the date they had fixed earlier for “streamlining” oil prices?

For this reduction, therefore, Pakatan can claim victory. I can’t remember the last time the petrol price - or for that matter any toll or tariff - was cut. What goes up in Malaysia never comes down… until now.

I was half-expecting this - a petrol price cut on the eve of polling. This was always going to be their main trump card.

The sentiment on the ground was troubling for the BN. This afternoon I asked a mobile phone agent who runs a stall on the corridor outside a row of shophouses in Penang how business was doing.

She said it was down - and not just for her. “All the other shops here are saying that business is down.” When asked the reason for the slump, she explained, “People have less to spend now after the oil price hike.”
